Besides having garbage pings of 250+ and a lack of ability to communicate in English, most of them are just hot garbage. In the last two games I’ve had 3 Vasillis who sat in turret house on Trainyard getting countersniped, an Aura who didn’t know to rez downed players and a Bushwhacker who didn’t know how to defuse the bomb. Check all their Steam profiles and…shocker! Argentina. Brazile. Chile.
Can’t we ship these players off somewhere else?

Definitely some issues with the servers down there. Plenty of people have reported higher ping to the Brazil based servers than the USE or USW servers.
I think you know full well this isn’t a location specific problem - these players exist everywhere.

Ehh. I’ve seen it throughout my time in gaming. DOTA, LoL, Gunbound when I was younger…
That said, we also faced a level 30 from Brazil who was managing to play worse than his level 6 teammates while talking about how awesome the video for “Girls, girls, girls” by Motley Crue is the entire match.
Yea, there’s bad players from every region. We certainly don’t need any more. And we don’t need players who can’t speak fluent English and have 300 pings.

It would definitely be nice to see some ping limitations built into some of the servers, because the other day I was playing with someone who had between 500-600ms the entire match and his/her team refused to kick them. Thankfully this was in a pub, not comp, so I can empathise with how annoying it can be.

If someone’s playing badly, it might be annoying but they have every right as you do to play the game - and as for discussing off-topic subjects, they have every right to do that too. Hopefully we’ll get a text mute option eventually, but if it’s on mic you can mute them right now. And also, remember player level NEVER correlates directly with skill, it’s more of a how much time have I spent on the game sign than anything else.
Somehow, the South American servers (which just work in Brazil) suck a lot. We have higher ping there than in USA East servers. So, not our fault that we play there. Go and complain to Nexon and tell them we want better servers. When we get those we leave yours alone, what do you think sweetie

Lack of ability? North American Servers are for US citizens only? What about french speaking canadians? Are they allowed to play there? Wake up man. People from literally EVERY country around yours speak more languages than you probably do. I’d say it is your lack of ability to deal with such a natural thing as communicating in another language than your own.
And some poorly skilled players being from Brazil, Chile and Argentina is enough reason to insult everyone from these countries? That would be the same as if I’d from now on insult every guy from the U.S. for writing moronic racist posts just because I’ve read yours.
I can relate OP, we’ve been seeing an onslaught of Russian players in EU servers with their Cyrillic alphabet and Russian all over. It’s just annoying how they think they’re better than everyone else. But we all know what’s what.
Hmmm, I’m gonna close this now because it escalates any further… I can already see the racial bias’s coming out in some comments, so we’ll leave this for now. Perhaps a better topic on a thread to discuss would be the possibility of implementing a ping limit, or filtering regions via the user’s location or something - rather than focusing on specific regions.
