Ive been playing dirty bomb for a good while now and I am honored to be the proud owner of an obsidian Pheonix card. However, what do I have to do around here to get my hands on an obsidian Sniper loadout. I realize these cards were for members of the closed beta, but baby it looks nice. I’d trade in my pheonix card any day.

There is no way currently…maybe some day if they add some kind of trade system and the Obsidian cards are allowed to be traded.

The sad fact is…you can’t.
The Founder cards and Obsidians will never be available again.
That’s confirmed by the developers.
There is nothing you can do about it.
You can except more obsidian cards for other mercs in the future, though! 
Also, keep an eye out for events.
There is an ongoing humble bundle one right now.
@Sorotia Founder or Obsidian cards won’t be tradeable.

Well, actually you can do something about it. All you need to do is finding someone who has one, offering him stuff for his steam account and hope he will sell you his account.
Cause you know, steam account-trading isn’t covered by Nexon and they basically can’t do anything about it.

I actually bought the humble bundle everything the day it came out. totally worth!!! although I already had all the mercs

That sucks…I just hope if they ever make a obsidian of one of the newer mercs I like…I will be able to obtain it.

DotA 2 and CS:GO both have steam market stuff, so maybe Nexon/Splash Damage can make steam market trading a thing for loadout cards.

I doubt you’d ever be able to get the founders or the original obsidian that were exclusive for beta candidates, but they’ve hinted that they may add more obsidian cards in the future.

Well comparing this to dota where You got 1 item roughly once per 5-7 matches in the past, at some point one nice set/mythical per level and now almost no random drops but with real money offers to give you a chance to get stuff and foremost big playerbase is not the best comparison 
I played roughly 1,6k of it - simply to get anything You wanted You had to trade :'c
And as loadouts are right now, there is not much to trade and for now, I think it would defeat the feeling of getting something nice - bronze is not worse than any higher tier except for skins, so until there are more skins or other kind of stuff I don’t think it would be good to implement trading, until there is some real rarity to it. For now it’s easy to get any loadout except for swag skins, and they’re not even separate for weapons And I think this also encourage people to use different things - someone may not like TIMIK, but he/she has Cobalt card with it, so after a while they will at least try and play a dew games with it, otherwise everyone would stick to “best” weapons :c

The obsidian cards look indeed really nice but it would be totally unfair if they make them available again (I don’t own them) let’s hope they make some nice cards in the future , not just recolors
