Always nice to watch back a good match or a nice kill
or just mess around with friends or ur clan and edit them…
its becomin regular for games to have this mode
Super street fighter 4, Halo reach, Fifa 11, COD Black ops…
so Splash Damage… why not the Brink?? Im sure people will love it, who doesnt wanna see their crazy lookin character and share them…

I’ve noticed an increasing pattern of console games having better native demo recording support than PC lately… soon you’ll be getting told by a consoler to play on console if you want to record demos 
Too true. Brink will need to do better than just having a bunch of cvars to control demos.
PC is too expensive for me and I always like playin with a console while layd back chillin on the couch plus my clan only do console gaming…
anyway recording a game works on halo reach without problems playin online on consoles so why not use the technology?
Halo Reach is also barren compared to the features, innovation and complexity of Brink.
consoles also have multiple video and audio outputs that can be connected to a variety of recorders
Brink has potential for some real… choreographed cinematic stylish tactical action to happen. I think that is a good wording. Being able to watch matches could be almost as much as playing.
It would be awsome if you could record cinimatics as if they were part of gameplay
I`d prefer GreasedScotsman to do the recording with whatever he uses to record.
Oh, and he should narrate, too!
I asked Ed (Bongoboy) about this specifically, and he said it’s something that has been brought up and talked about. In true SD style, they want to be able to do it right. If it can’t be done 100% and work the way it should, then it won’t be added… which is understandable.
