who thinks this is the best outfit for a Brink character?

(signofzeta) #1

head
neck
body
arms
hands
waist
legs
feet

Oh yeah
Weapon
Ammunition

It may be off topic, but it is related to Brink in that it is a customizable character, and it is Playoff season.

Also it would stink if Brink didn’t have the aforementioned outfits and gear, or at least a modified version of them.

This is an FPS, not the sims tyvm.

(H0RSE) #3

the outfit only works if you have a Flyers Jersey.

(signofzeta) #4

Fixed

But my character rather wear THIS.

But now that my favorite team has moved to phoenix, I officially am a Flyers fan. Because of Aaron Asham.

Oh yeah, there is this Asham and Carcillo archetype where um, they don’t really have a lot of skill in doing objectives. but they are better at getting kills.

This is Brink, not NHL 2K45, You’ll be lucky if you even have one article of hockey related clothing :stuck_out_tongue:

(signofzeta) #8

SOMEONE can’t take a joke.

WHAT!!! Why you looking at me for???

But in all seriousness, I’m stressing the fact that I have never seen a piece of clothing derived from sporting equipment. I have also yet to see a stadium in the Ark, but I haven’t seen the rest of the Ark other than Container City and Shipyard, so I couldn’t comment on that.

And how dare you compare this to NHL 2k45, when obviously NHL 45 is way better.

(NiNja) #9

hahah my bad, I’m not too big on those hockey games i suppose

If there was some kind of arena, or entertainment district it would make the game that much more immersive, but according to other games set in the future no one has any need for entertainment:rolleyes:.

(signofzeta) #11

They all have become worker’s zombies. They follow orders and don’t think for themselves. Oh noes.

But what they don’t know, the jocks, via the slaves of those nerdly Ark employees, are secretly building their own floating island thing. And once the Ark people are unaware, a supply plane will come in, and drop a gazillion footballs into the Ark.

Actually, hockey pucks would hurt more.

(Ashog) #12

Didn’t like teh pants - will take too long to put them on/off for teabagging. You’ll get killed epicly.

(DoubleDigit) #13

Hockey shmokey, pffff.
This is as close to brink as reality can get.

(light_sh4v0r) #14

cool vid

sorry, paintball is more closer to brink because it has guns. The joke here is that Brink does not offer any protection derived from non-shooting sports. Considering how the Ark was supposed to be paradise before the war, it is obvious they should have at least some entertainment, like movies and sports.

Even so, you can’t even dress up like a biathlon guy, and even that consists of shooting.

You can’t even wear a polo shirt, or rugby shirt in this game. How lame is that. But I don’t care, my initial thread was meant to be a joke anyway, stating that sporting equipment is absent in Brink, and I have yet to see a stadium.

(LyndonL) #16

The Ark was more of an experiment. So I’m sure they would have the essentials but they wouldn’t go wasting space/resources on arenas/fields.

Also, it was made by scientists… how many egghead scientists do you know that are avid sports fans?

hmm, so my theory was correct. Security = Nerds, and Resistance = Jocks, and the war only existed because the Nerds never created any arenas and the Jocks got all mad about it.

(light_sh4v0r) #18

Not really, the security are hired by the nerds I’d say.

(signofzeta) #19

according to Jocks, whoever hangs out with Nerds become Nerds. The Resistance wants to fight the security because there aren’t any arenas or stadiums to play their sports in. Now the Ark admins didn’t want to build arenas and stadiums is becuase they wanted to build gaming conventions and D&D centers and stuff, also they wanted to get back at the Resistance for years of swirlies and wedgies.

(LyndonL) #20

Yeah but by that theory … Some of the Resistance are ex-Security… who are apparently nerds by association, who therefore will go and hang with the Resistance making THEM nerds by association… NERDFEST!!!
