Who forgot to tell the forums how to math?

The point counter seems to be off for everyone’s tally. I’ve considered it may just need time to catch up or process points. The longer I’ve waited the larger the point deficit is.

115+75+31+14=235
235-5-1=229

Mine was on 0 this morning and now it’s back to 50+. Oh well, I’m still far away from the sig anyways :smiley:

I wonder if there is a point cap for a post. Say for instance after 5 lol’s any additional +1 lol’s don’t count to the point meter.

My score is quite a bit higher than the total of my points. However, I did notice something that is obviously coincidental.

If Insightful is worth 2 points, Dislike counts for 0 points and everything else, including Disagree, counts for 1 point then the total comes out to 313 which is my score.

But yeah, that is definitely a total (pun) coincidence since it doesn’t work for others.

It is nearly perfect for me i am 40 points under just with Reactions but i got a good amount of badges… dont know if they are just counting unique reactions so friends cant upvote every comment…

If we add up the numbers above it is actually 363.
HOWEVER
DISLIKE- General Disapproval. Maybe someone said something naughty or wasn’t adding to the conversation in a positive way. This is worth -1 point

I have 8 Dislikes, so 355.

DISAGREEs do not add or subtract points.
