I think I didnt make myself clear enough.

  1. If microtransactions allow people to buy game-relevant stuff, such as XP,guns,abilities, etc, It spoils the game for me because it favors those of us who have craploads of money to spend on a game and potentially no skil…

  2. I STILL dont like them, and in fact hate them to death, but I guess its more tolerable to have microtransactions that only buy you cosmetic stuff that doesent affect gameplay at all.

Still, I believe that leveling the playing field for everyone and giving everyone the same chances is the most sincere way to procede.

Also, people are easily whored into certain behaviours, if a certain game developer sees its games making more money with microtransactions than by traditional retail methods then he will go MT all the way, without caring if the game he is making is any good, as history has shown…

There are certain games for MT,to me, THIS IS NOT IT.

Yea, if there game is going to be a remotely balanced MP FPS… I don’t think DLC is going to offer those with cash big l33t guns etc. Maybe something more like customization options for appearance, maps, etc.

yeah, basically just DLC. MT’s are for free games that can’t make money any other way.

Little big planet sells costumes on the playstation store, they are like 50 pence or something and I think people do buy them because I see the new costumes alot when playing. I dont have a problem with it, if someone wants to spend money on a cosume thats their own business. If it is something that makes the game easier however like a new weapon or ability then I am against that.
