Considering we have already seen a screenshot with him in it that was released around the time of Phantom, I definitely think the next will be Red Eye.

I’m thinking Red Eye as well, only because of Phantom, and because we still have 2 mercs for Ops.

We have 3 Medics, 3 Engineers, 3 Assault, and 3 Support, still only 2 ops.

I expect either another op, or maybe a Merc we’ve never seen, like Turtle. I would not be surprised if he was next for the same reasons as Phantom, he’s hard to balance.

My guess is hopping between Turtle and RedEye quite much… I’ve started thinking of it being Redeye since the community uproar, which magnitude has reached already hilarious proportions though. However that might as well be reason arguing it’ll not be him, since devs might feel need of having more actual gameplay data instead of forum drama of how Phantom is being played out, with the absence of so called rock-paper-scissors counter against the stealthy 'murican. More data, more certain his probable future tweaks or nerfs will be spot-on and no need to be reworked bi-weekly.

Voted Phoenix though because I totally didn’t miss-click the vote or anything and notice afterwards my silly mistake. Nono, definitely voted him out of the blue because…Erm…Competitive scene seems to be lacking another viable option for Medic…? Maybe…? Quick, someone else come up with seemingly or honestly insightful bish-bosh!! I require assistance!

I figured the last one would cover turtle.

I know people want redeye because of phantom, but I think phantom is the reason redeye won’t be next. The devs said that they’re not balancing around needing specific mercs to counter other mercs so I’m guessing they’re going to want to take some time to work on phantom before letting us deal with him using redeye.

I don’t think it’ll be a medic or slayer, because they just released
Sparks and Phantom. Fingers crossed for support or objective specialist.

I hope it’s Stoker or Turtle.

I’ll be over the moon if it’s Red Eye, Stoker or even Phoenix. Each of them will have a dramatic effect on how the game plays, especially in competitive.

Given how Dirty Cups are insisting on the one merc rule, fingers crossed for phoenix so we can have a decent alternative to sawbonez.
