I’m all about knocking out vehicles with the rocketlauncer or getting close with shotgun on assaults or holding positions with a machinegun/hypberblaster on defense.

I never play soldier in ET, but in QW i just might. In ET i think most of the soldier weapons didn’t really take that much skill, and i hate mortar and panzer just because they are such “easy to kill” weapons, and with mortar you can spam the same spot without even looking at the screen + spawnkill.

I think QW will fix this, and soldiers will be the only “rambo” class, and that the weapons require skill to use properly. Also i will prolly be playing alot of covert ops, just like i do in ET. Then again all of the 5 classes seem interesting, hard to say which one i prefer the most before i can actually play them.

I’ll try out every class. Tough to call a top pick, but I think I’ll go for the Strogg Technician. Although I agree the defibrillators are pretty awesome, the Stroyent tool looks even more fun to me.

I’m surprised how much interest there is in the Covert Ops. I guess stealth-style playing doesn’t suit me well… I’d rather be down-n-dirty in the frontline or raining artillery death on the enemy.

You know which team I’m joining? Neither Strogg nor GDF. I join the

SPECTATOR.

3 good points about the spectator.

  1. Is invisible
  2. Can see through the eyes of strogg or humans
  3. Can fly

1 bad point about the spectator.

  1. Can’t interact with anything

But seriously, I like joining strogg because I like playing with their stuff more.
I only like GDF because they have a quad bike.

It may be that most people don’t buy into the 1337ness of Strogg. Strogg use posture similar to leet 12 year olds. That, and GDF weapons look much more convincing. Strogg ones are not convincing enough.

I’m also surprised no one pointed out Technician and Infiltrator look too similar.

My favorite classes are (not necessarely in that order):

  1. Covert ops - frist thing I’ll do is see how sniping works
  2. Engy - lots of fun constantly constructing and maintaing a functional base
  3. Medic - for general fraging experience

Don’t care which side Im on, I just want to try them all out

Oh, and I DEFINETLY want to try driving the Cyclops Walker Mech Thingy just to feel the sheer size and power of controling that giant 15 meter death dealing machine.

i’m really looking forward to shooting out the tyres on vehicles and then driving them around, doing donuts ect… and shooting out the tyres on vehicles going past.
Looking forward to the gunships as well, i got prity good at bf2 in the planes :twisted:

I like all the kool stuff like the Strogg weapons. I have watched the Strogg Training video so I can get a handle on the defence weapons.
