White Square

I ahve just loaded GTK on my laptop and when I press shift a little white square appears getting in the way.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this annoying thing (Whatever it does) as it is making me want to kick my dogs !

Go to your GTKRadiant folder. Select GtkRadiant.exe and do a right click on it. Select properties and tick the following boxes under Compatibility.

  • Disable visual themes
  • Disable desktop composition
  • Disable display scaling…

Next time please use search. I have answered the same question over 5 times already. :slight_smile:

Many Thanks, that worked, I wouldn’t have really kicked the dogs.

OK I know that you have probably answered this five times as well but I can’t find it.

I am now using Windows 7 and the program comes up with this error if I tick the Disable Desktop Composition box.

Is there any way I can fix this problem.

I have included an image of the error.
