Which SMG do you prefer?

I always switch between Blishlok and SMG-9 when I answer a SMG poll. This time, it’s SMG-9.

When I started playing Dirty Bomb the SMG-9 was my favourite. Then I switched to the Crotzni (still my most used one) because I got so many good cards with it but only crap with the SMG-9. Then I switched to the KEK-10 which still is my second favourite SMG but for now I like the Bitchlock the most since my aim got better and it’s a really powerful weapon if you go for the head. Especially on mid to long range.

The only SMG that never really worked for me was the Hochfir… I don’t know but it takes forever to kill someone and it just doesn’t feel right for me. But I know how good some people are with it so it’s most definitly not the guns fault, but mine for not being good with it.

Depends on merc honestly.
I love the KEK on Bushwhacker but not on Phoenix
I love the blish on Aura and Fletcher but not on Bush or Saw
Hochfir on Phoenix and Proxy
Crotzni on Nader and Saw
SMG-9 on Saw and Nader

But if I have to pick a most loved one then it’s SMG-9 or Crotzni.

A merc dependant question, as others pointed out already.

Crotzni - makes me happy. At least for the typical medic ranges.

Hochfir on Proxy is also a very highly valued toy for me, but I cant make it work on a different merc, similar to the Dreiss on Kira. The combo with speed of the mercs is what makes them so deadly.

The KEK is something I only like to play with Phantom. I use it on bushy too, but it feels weaker there, since the fights have a different style and are often just panic jumping due to the turret (so I get far less headshots).

I don’t think I “like” any of the SMGs. I use the Blishlok because its not a shotgun, (on Aura and Fletcher) and the Hochfir on Proxy for the same reason. I use the KEK on Phoenix and half the time Bushwhacker, because I remember people crying about how OP it was a while ago. Then I use the SMG-9 on everyone else because after I came back from a month-or-two break, I thought the Crotzni was crap. I used it on Nader and now I think it’s hit or miss, and want my Sawbonez C73 back.

Very apathetic about all SMGs.

Kek and Hoch are pretty much the same to me.

I main Nader as my primary assault merc, and the nade launcher usually works at mid range, so I like using the SMG-9 over the Crotzni, mainly because of that extra range that I can’t rach with the nades. Maybe that’s just me.
