“Idealistic” meaning “this isn’t normal but you know Nader’s gay and if you are going to make Vas some shy person you probably should give him a reason to be shy”.

No, but I just really dislike the “OMG he’s so shy” angle in many romantic stories. As well as trying to tack on a mental disorder to a character. It just feels lazy and uninspired.

And clearly coming from @Shinywindow in the video, Vas is shipped with so many people that I just ship Vas as gay to get a laugh out of it. Besides, Skyhammer and Vas actually have synergy with each other to reinforce the joke. Also, Vas has an alternate alias among the community long before this started.
