With the upcoming merc Hunter, it appears that he’ll most likely be Phantom’s arch nemesis.
Similarly how in TF2, there’s 2 way or 3 way go rivalvry between classes, why not develop it more in DB?
There’s the obvious Fragger vs Thunder and Vassilli vs Aimee.
However I feel there there should be something between Turtle and BushWanker, since one is purely defensive and the other purely offensive engineer.
And the list goes on…
Got any more observations?

I think Proxy vs Fletcher would work better. The conversation could go like this:
Fletcher: “Proxy, I hate you! You are a stupid, no skill, bunny hopping, pizza delivering mine monkey!”
Proxy: “Fletcher, I hate you! You are an arrogant, no skill, bunny hopping, nuke ball spamming sunglasses fetishist who escaped from the jungle only recently!”
Eox: “Too toxic! Both mercs banned for life!”

Well yeah, they’re both technically defensive, but I still enjoy setting a trap for defenders with my turret on attack by running anyone chasing me back into it; sometimes there are even teammates there as well to help me shoot at them along with my turret. It’s a magical feeling to watch them suddenly be the ones fleeing after chasing you around like headless chickens.

Well gameplay wise, I guess it would be:
Arty vs Skyhammer
Stoker vs Kira
Aura vs Sawbonez
Sparks vs Guardian
Bushwhacker vs Turtle
Fletcher vs Sparks
Thunder vs Fragger
Nader vs Javelin (let’s be honest, they do the same thing)
Redeye vs Aimee vs Vassili
Phantom is kind of an oddity, so…
Canonically… Well that could be another post entirely, with all the headcanons I’ve got.

I despise Guardian. I bring Phantom almost every third match just to combat the possibility of a Guardian. And then when you have a Guardian on your team it’s some idiot that can’t pick you up with more than 30 health 2 seconds before the spawn wave hits.

That is correct, and if it isn’t, they worked for the same company and they BOTH stole stuff from the company.
