My favourite loadout is the KE72 Guardian Operative. Nader is a light assault merc so I’m either playing hit-and-run, or I’m setting myself up as some sort of agile artillery that over watches common choke points, gauntlets and bomb sites. I find Nader works best right behind the front line, rather than right on the front line.
Playing as hit-and-run. double time will greater increase your survivability since you can reload a full mag whilst re-positioning yourself (your opponents will either have to reload first then re-engage you, or chase you and then rely on their secondary). Spares works well with the Hochfir since you’ll be burning through mags even with a 55 clip; allowing you to carry up to 220 ammo. Unfortunately focus won’t be doing too much for you though.
The Hochfir is quite underrated. From experience, landing constant headshots will take down ANY merc in under 2 seconds. And that’s not really a hard thing to do since the spread and recoil on the Hochfir is soooo minimal. No matter if you’re jumping or strafing, headshots are quite easy to land.
I’ve played with other cards that have Bigger Blast and Unshakeable, and I’ve found that Bigger Blast isn’t that noticeable (it’s only a 10% increase) while Unshakeable does find its use every now and then. But comparing those to double time; you’ll always be using double time no matter the situation. Double time is invaluable for the two play styles I mentioned above.
