Which is your favorite Archetype?

(79of96) #1

For me, it’s the Engineer. I like being a Heavy Engineer, put out some sneaky landmines, some well placed turrets and capture’em points. Fortifying and buffing, so very fun!

So, fable for me, which is your favorite Class?

In before the whine

Yes people, we know classes and archetypes are different, but the poll and post make it obvious what he’s referring to.

I’m a medic, always have been, always will be.

None.
They would need to be tied to a weapon of some sort, for me to have a favourite class.
And I dont have a fav weapon

Bah, I guess…I’m awaiting the flaming then.

Love em all, even the ops. Diversity baby

(Spendlove) #6

Love them all but a heavy gotlung wielding soldier will always have a special place in my heart.

(wolfnemesis75) #7

I play mostly Engineer. My first character was a Medic primary, but I love the Engineer/Operative Hybrid. I win more than I lose when I am this character.

(Jimmy James) #8

Where is the option to choose Field Ops? Because that is the best class ever and I… D’oh!

I chose Engineer as it was always my second favorite class in ET:QW. Mines and turrets are just so fun.

EDIT:

My second favorite class (and gun) for Brink.

(morguen87) #9

Been really loving soldier with a grenade attachment on an assault rifle, but it seems like my team is always full of soldiers and ops so I end up playing engineeer or medic probably more than anything. Which is weird cause I assumed there’d be mostly engineers for the weapon damage buff.

(79of96) #10

Think I’m going to start play the Medic, there are just too many damn Engineers out there!

(TONSCHUH) #11

… I play at the moment as a soldier, but I’m getting worried if this is the right Joyce for the game …

(Nexolate) #12

Either Engineer or Medic. Engineer because Weapon Buffed guns are much more enjoyable to use and Medic because no one’s better at team play.

I think Medic edges it out.

Nexo

EDIT: Once AoC comes out, I think we should have a real Favourite Archetype poll. What do you guys think? =D

(Qbix) #13

Favourite classes are medics and soldier. Medic because I like to have up to 8 supply pips and to be the one who destroys all the hard work our opponent’s put into downing my team  And soldier because the grenade ability recharge times are great and you can tear apart groups of enemies easier on your own.

Hah, I thought you meant Age of Conan. Full retard. But, yeah, heh.
I’ll start one when it comes out! I am really looking forward to them napalm-fiery-mines which Engineers will have. BUURN!

(AmishWarMachine) #15

My favorite is the medic, but I use engineer most often, as they are more universally useful in pretty much every map (excluding, maybe, escort missions).

(TruGamer97) #16

Im starting to like soldier but engineer is my favorite

(tokamak) #17

I wish Medics had more temporary buffs or maybe even auras to make them more interesting in combat. Right now I feel like the guys I heal/revive were just lucky to have me around instead of it being a part of my overall strategy, like in ETQW.

(wolfnemesis75) #18

Engineer-Medic-Operative-Soldier

In that order for me. But if you check my stats page, and look at the class wheel, you will see I play all classes. I will switch to get the objective done.

(79of96) #19

I play Engineer 99% of the time, though Medic does intrigue me.

Anyone can recommend weapons and body-type for me whilst playing Medic?

(Throbblefoot) #20

By number of hours, I clearly favor Medic. But if there are any good Medics on the team, I always go for Ops. Caltrops are mt friends!
