r.i.p too young to have credit card
Which Humble Bundle Deal have you purchased?
People like you will always find “reasons”. Solution is very simple but you choose to ignore it for the sake of ranting opportunity. I’ve been in the internet for far too long to not recognise that kind of behavior instantly - “oh I won’t get it because I just came up with XYZ reason and that offer sucks. It’s disrespectful for not including… yadda yadda yadda”.
You don’t want to share your bank information? No problem. You can always make a regular money transfer from bank to paypal without giving out your bank account details. Only your account number is needed to send money. If the account number is still too confidential for you (how do you pay bills then?), you can always visit a nearby post office and transfer funds through it.
@Nesodos there is one funny thing with creating your account
you need to have 13 years, i mean WITH 13YEARS OLD KID WILL HAVE CREDIT CARD !!!
they could really add paysafecard to payment methods
Well I basically decided against that. 12$ for some games I won’t play, some mercs I already own, and loadouts that suck. Oh and some credits I don’t need cause I have all my mercs I play in CW/Gold.

you need credit card anyway
Ok, slightly offtopic; I don’t know where you live, but where I live electronic money transfers are so common, that the ignorants in parliment have been wanting to eliminate paper money as legal tender for years.
The $1 dollar deal is awesome and I was curious about what would come along with the 12$ pack, and as a big part went to charity I was like what the hell
Credit cards rare in Europe? Are you kidding me?! Nearly all of my contacts carry at least one with them at all times …
Well, Opi, I dont. And will not in the near future.

i saw that they dont like european gamers and only accept credit cards, which are really, really rare in europe and especially in my country
We got populist parties trying to write down paper money in the constitution, while in real life the vast majority (80+%) of transactions are still carried out in paper. Credit cards are popular and a trend and what not. Trend is the word for “still not happening on a broad enough scale to drive away the other system”.
Those numbers don’t carry from D to DK, as we have a special electronic payment system and card, which also happens to be compatible with Visa.
And as a political comparrison (it does not hold up fully for reasons I am sure you know) the situation here is like CDU/CSU and SPD would go out tommorow and announce their intention to phase out the Euro paper notes as legal tender within a few years, only leaving the digital currency.
Thanks for a little bit of insight. I live in Austria and we seem to have the counter trend, where people would grab pitch forks and torches towards such a described initiative for pure electronic money - despite TV spots for new methods etc.
@MarsRover
but a visa or master card is a credit card
my bank card is no credit card and does not have the needed information
furthermore i can not acquire a credit card
@Opicron
they are still quite rare here in Austria as not everyone can have one and no one really needs
them
its also quite hard to get a credit card because you need enough income in order to get one (at least 1800-2000 Euros/month),
@p4v
wow you are interpreting quite a lot into it
i never said the offer sucks, i think its a very good offer and you can even donate while getting more digital fun, the problem is the limited payment methods
i dont know in what country you live but in order send money from a post office i would have to use an envelope full with notes cuz that kind of money transfer is normally done in a bank
the problem with paypal is that in order to activate your account you have to insert your
bank information because they will send you two small sums of money (<1 euro) you will then have to type in
the reason i dont like paypal is because its linked to your bank account and the payment infomation can even be used when not logged in, making it quite inscure in case of a cyber attack
they even store your information when you deleted it from your account and there are a lot of bad reports concerning their debit processor
they even act against european laws and cheat on their customers
if you still dont believe me that paypal is bad you can look it up yourself, though you may need to delete your account later on because they will sue you if you tell the world they stole your money
;edit; fixed some lots of typos
No, it isn’t. You don’t know what a credit card is. Or how Paypal works.
I find it hard to believe that the banking system in Austria is so backward compared to Poland.
@MarsRover
as i said, cant aquire a credit card because i would need a monthly income of at least 1800 euros to get one
im still a student, i cant work fulltime to get this amount of money
we have a lot of different banks in austria, i use the “raiffeisen” bank and like nearly every other bank here and in germany you have to request a credit card before they can check your credit rating
as a normal customer with a normal bank account you only get a bank/cash card which only contains a BIC and a IBAN
these cards dont work so you have to pay money for a card you will only get when you have a good job

I’ve been using Visa/Mastercard debit cards online for 12+ years. Never had a credit card in my life. Are you seriously telling me that in Austria this is not possible? Well, that sucks.
Yeah, bank cards are backed by Mastercard and Visa pretty around the world. They are not credit cards and they tie directly to your bank account. It allows you to use your money anywhere where those CC’s are accepted. If your area of the world doesn’t have that option, well, that sounds really annoying

I do remember that you had to have a pretty solid credit history and established bank account back when VS/MC backed bank cards first started coming out in the United States. So it might be that your area is still catching up.
So much stuff I don’t want that the 12 bucks for the HB loadouts just don’t feel right…
