GTX 460, all settings are low and I get around 60 FPS.
Which graphics card are you using?
HD 7790, 60 ~ 140+ depends on the map/nr. of players. had some drops to 22~40 due to a sneaky BitCoinDigger Trojan
2 HD 6870’s in crossfire (default profile). 60 - 130fps with everything on low and off except for Post Processing and Blur. While 3 months ago I had 40 - 60fps (I think Xt has had some game logic code improvements since my CPU was the bottleneck). And an exception is Waterloo which gives me only 40fps at the train station.
i7 920 + geforce 660ti, 1680x1050 almost all to full quality => 80-110 fps
i5 4660 + geforce 760gtx, 1920x1080 full quality => 90-144fps with vsync
GTX570, everything off or on low and I get ~130. It dips below 100 and jumps past 160 at times depending on the map.
With everything on high between 90-150 on an empty server.
With everything on low between 240-360 on an empty server.
The lowest FPS happen at open areas and the highest fps happens at choke points.
Resolution @ 1080p
My system specs are in my signature.
My fps used to be bad when there used to be people on the servers, but right now I can’t say, because no one is on.
I’m on an amd phenom 2 x6 1055T
by completely unplayable I mean 50fps and below and I get some pretty choppy performance with more than 6 people shooting at the same time on screen (somewhere around 30fps if I’d have to guess)

I’d suggest messing with drivers and maybe even a clean install of windows. My brother plays on a 1055T BE with a 5850 and get’s a stable framerate using an fps cfg. Also have you tried OC’ing your CPU or GPU?
GPU is oveclocked and could go a little faster still but I’d have to downclock soon because of summer approaching, I haven’t overclocked my cpu/memory though since it’s usually not there the bottleneck is… Could try it out when I’m bored one of these days again
I got a performance boost this patch, but it’s usually a back and forth thing between updates. If your not using a fps boost cfg, I’d also recommend doing that.
I’ll have a go at it, not like I have anything better to do at 1am, let’s see what an extra 450Mhz can do for me
Are the tweaks ailmanki pasted still valid? or is there a better config now?
Currently at around 50fps @ 720P everything as low as I can get it… Doesn’t make that much difference between 720 and 1080 so I’m guessing my cpu hates ue
guessing I’ll go with an i5/7 for my next computer build when I get to it
AMD Radeon HD 6750M and an AMD Radeon HD 6620G
Getting usually about 45 FPS since the past few updates, even though I stopped doing cfg tweaks until the updates become less frequent, my bottleneck being my 1.5 Ghz AMD A8; I don’t overclock. XT is still a lot slower than the other Unreal shooters I have, and all the Unreal shooters I have are by far the slowest games.
Yeah, I haven’t played an unreal based game that actually ran reasonably well on a computer I own since ut2004… and in all fairness other games still felt way better back then as well…but oh well… fast and easy development for some quick sales beats a game that’s fun to play
at least for the developers
I went for the GTX770 and it is a massive improvement from my old card, however… I still drop to 40ish FPS at certain parts of maps, ie canary wharf (The one with all the yellow pipes?) at the last stage in the open area where the wee doors can open and close my fps drops and the game feels a little jumpy.
On whitechapel at the last stage where you plant, the open area there drops my FPS too.
Am I the only one experiencing this as my FPS are a stable 90+ everywhere else.

The graphic card is not the only factor of performance in games. The CPU and RAM do a lot too. What CPU do you have ?
In my opinion you should do like spookify: get an SLI solution and disable one card to play to XT. Sure it works better
(joking)
Specs are…
GTX770
AMD Bulldozer FX - 6 Core 6100 3.30Ghz (3.9Ghz on Turbo)
8GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600mhz
60GB SSD SATA3 @ 6GB/s
Does that seem ok?
GTX 770 and a AMD 7970ghz before.
NO drops or increases in performance.
Seems like AMD and Nvidia have even performance in xT.

your cpu is a bit old, I guess that’s the bottleneck for your games. Check this comparison:

Thanks for that… Seems I’m a bit out of touch with what’s decent… I thought my PC was a good spec
