This isn’t another rant thread, we have enough of those. I’m curious if this could be addressed in the next FAQ-ing Friday @stayfreshshoe
Are there any plans currently to add more permanent grind content to the game be that new skins, more trinkets, different customization system, etc. I can guarantee my playtime would skyrocket if a collection of new weapon skins was released for each rarity, but I’ve seen no attempt to address the topic recently so I’m wondering if there’s a plan and if so can you tell us what it is?
Also, crafting system fix… Love to know the status on that. Thanks my man, keep up the good work with keeping us informed!
Wonder how many threads like that are popping up, per week. The wait is almost as bad as medical care one.[/quote]
I’ve written a few of them myself, but I thought with the new FAQ-ing Fridays we might actually have a chance to get a real answer to the question instead of silence. Even just a “we’re not working on it” would be okay by me. Expectation management is a great thing.
You missed the point of those FAQ Fridays a bit. Their purpose is not to answer questions, but to gather all official replies. Regarding answering questions, it is probably the “good ol’ soon” with maybe some “we’re working in it” thrown into the Mix.
We want to add a ton of progression into the game. Some of it’s still in the design phase whilst some assets have started to be created. As with most things we don’t have a release date set yet (and this would be quite far off anyway) so that’s why you haven’t heard much about it yet. As it gets closer to the time I’m sure we’ll share more info on the subject. But remember, as it is with game development, anything can happen!
You always talk about how you want to do this stuff and that stuff in basically every topic people ask about, wether it’s content, features, balancing, cmm, quality of life improvements, crafting revamp, splitting skins from functionallity, etc.
Why don’t you go ahead and show us some of your things you’re planning to do, because your PR like promises you keep making aren’t that interesting.

They’ve said they need to hire more people to get more shit done, basically. A road map would be beyond awesome, but I’d guess they’d rather keep the pressure off as much as possible.
It’s sort of baffling to me that they haven’t just done an SDK and just given up trying to make content for the game, they clearly can’t keep up any sort of decent pace. But with Heist being announced, the current employment drive and SD making more promises than Santa at Christmas, it’s safe to assume they are keen to keep working on the game. Hopefully development is faster in the future. I’ll guess we’ll see.
Also from the monetary side, you have to wonder how this game does for revenue. I would of thought SD would of been all over some of the ideas people have suggested, but we haven’t seen anything new for months. It’s almost like they don’t want to make some easy money from the game lol.
