Where to start... Want to make some skins.

Hi guys,

Can anyone direct me where to start to make skins?

Unzip pk3’s and watch the Files… There are some gfx-Files for the Skin which are editable.

You should create a seperate mod-diretory (a second ET-installation).
Then unpack the pak0.pk3-file as [DS]-=Pencil=- has mentioned.

You can download one of the already available skin mods to get a clue what files of the unpacked pak0.pk3-file you have to edit.

If you have finished your skins zip them up (I recommend pakscape).
The files must have the same paths and names as in the original pak0.pk3-file (take a look at the available skin mod files again).
The name of the zip has to start with a letter “behind” / “greater than” p.
And rename the ending from zip to pk3.
