Where is this game SD?

I know this is an old video but it was shown as a gameplay movie. On PC with every graphic option max, I don’t get this much quality graphics. The shadow, lightning and the motion, it plays is amazing.

Also It seems like there are better cutscenes. Towards the ends in Part 3 you see your squad discover green (weapon?) stuff and it looks far more interesting then the cutscenes in final game. Also animations seems smoother.

I feel like a lot of stuff from game is cut but where did hey go? Why would you make amazing game and make poor decisions?

Same here, it feels like they cut the story and just added sone short cutscenes.

And that green stuff is the ‘bioweapon’ the security is looking for.

Now in Brink, when you get to that part there is no cutscene, only a new objective, get that bag to the helicopter.

I’ve played at work today and the game didn’t look as good as it does at home. What are your GPU and OS?

(fearlessfox) #4

So do the graphics not match up with what’s on show in this video? I’ve heard mixed things so far…

(Scip) #5

i agree that they should ve put more cutscenes in, at least when you re playing the Campaign in SP mode

but in MP the cutscenes would get annoying quickly

Not even close. Just watch this video and then a Let’s Play of the game (preferably one in HD so you know they’re playing with the highest settings).

The older videos look a lot nicer in every imaginable way compared to the final product.

they should of kept the story the way they had it, it was very good in container city and more impressive. felt like a more engaging singleplayer. ht graphics i wouldn’t know about, im on console.

(angemon) #8

Well you decide if it looks same or not

here is ss from container city with high settings and everything on (except Ambient Occlussion - which doesn’t make difference other then cut fps half)

Is this a ****ing joke? The game looks like ****ing **** compared to this.

(fearlessfox) #10

While I honestly don’t care about graphics is a game’s mechanics are great enough, it’s like SD were intentionally lying to us to trick us into pre-ordering this…

intense bloom blinding smoke hard contrast does not mean good graphics. The game now looks much better then this.

(Bakercompany) #12

I love the game as is, but I can definitely say it looks nothing like that. I am on xb360 and I know it can’t compete with PC’s, but they look like two different games.

(vexicat) #13

The graphics would probably look like this,if SD fixed the slow loading textures.

On the xbox360 anyways,Idk if PC users have that same problem.

(fearlessfox) #14

I tell you what, go find a HD video on youtube that’s been uploaded in the last few minutes (there are plenty) and compare it.

I just did, and the current graphics look last-gen compared to the video highlighted in this thread. The video here makes the game look almost painted in waterclours in places, it looks very nice.

You can get all buzzwordy all you want, but the graphics /used/ to be pretty nice and now they look like something from a latter-day ps2 game.
