Where is the "search" function?

I can’t find it, I’ve spent like twenty minutes searching for it. Where exactly is the forum search function?

Scroll allll the way to the top when you’re viewing a thread. It’s in the upper right, a tiny black bar.

I have no idea why you can’t see it when you’re just viewing the overall forums, but when you’re in a specific thread, it appears.

I found that, but doesn’t that just search that thread? Is there no forum search function?
