Where is the casual party system?

Why hasn’t a casual party system that automatically ques together friends on the same team been implemented yet?Simply joining the same game a majority of time puts to the 2 people against each other when they want to play together so a casual party system that ensures friends can play together is severely needed.

It’s currently not implemented, however it is definitely being worked on - last thing I heard, it was a pretty high priority too. The main concern before was pushing out the large content release (the containment war update), however that is now out and the focus has shifted back onto core features and more maps. :slight_smile:

You are playing together just not in the same team…

And if you get put in a different team it clearly means you’re both doing really good or really terrible which would ruin balance even more.

If you want to play together on the same team go play competitive.

This is clearly unfair though because why should we have to go play a competitive match when we simply want to enjoy the game as friends?

@meekPentacle and how are other people enjoying the game when teams are obviously stacked?

This argument can go back and forth. On one hand, teams can easily be stacked. On the other hand, some people (like myself for instance) just want to have fun, maybe mess around on the maps, or not try to be douche bags and spawn camp the other team.

If you look at other games, like CoD for instance, has this party system and although some games (generally very few) are filled with parties that completely annihilate the other team, most have 1-3 players in a party that are just enjoying the game together. At least from what I’ve seen. But hey, I can definitely understand not wanting the teams to stack. I definitely don’t want to be joining every game to see that the other team has an elite clan rampaging through public matches.

There just needs to be a system where your premade can’t be more than half of the team or something like that or if you’re a premade team, you’re going to get stuck with that guy that always plays vasili.

I want to play with my friends but I also don’t want to get pub stomped if I am playing solo. I’m sure a lot of people feel this way.
