Where is it ? If I remember correctly we just had X-Mas so where is it ? ;)))
Where is my Alpha Invite ???
The key is on the back of splashdamages Christmas card. Everyone registered and active on the forum for some time got one.
When does the Dirty Bomb Closed Alpha/Beta start?
We expect the Closed Beta to start in early 2013.
I just purchased a Founder’s Package - when can I expect my items?
Closed Alpha Keys for Inner Circle members will be made available as quickly as we can
taken from the FAQs
We do not have much information about the possible release of a beta or alpha for the founders.
Founders are guaranteed to get in the alpha, but more than likely won’t be allowed to comment on it. SD and its secretssssssssss!
I can’t imagine the beta will be anytime soon, the minimum you need to pay to get access to the alpha is $210 more than the minimum you need to pay to get access to the beta. I’d be pissed if that $210 only bought me a week or 2 (or even a month or 2) earlier access.
I also wonder to what extent alpha access to going to drive the direction the game takes, i.e. how much say does alpha access give you in how the game plays, how the weapons behave (damage / spread etc.). I’d be disappointed if a guy who can afford to drop $240 on a game gets to dictate to the rest of us how the game plays, but then I’d be disappointed if I paid that $240 and it didn’t.
Rest assured nobody will be ‘dictating’ anything, we’ll be taking on board feedback from everybody before we make our minds up
That’s good to know (as someone who hasn’t paid $240 for alpha access), but I don’t suppose you’d like to share with us what’s currently “on your mind”?
Lots of discussion, and speculation, and disagreement, around here on what DB is going to be like. You know the drill, there’s going to be a sizeable chunk of your player-base “assuming” DB is the second coming of <insert favourite game here> and will play exactly like <insert favourite game here> and will be disappointed if it doesn’t.
Giving us a clue as to how you intend the game to play might be useful
(or it might not and I’m just fishing!)
Any idea on when contributor/founder packs will be getting access to the alpha?
One guy already had alpha access. He gave feedback on the normal forum, but that got deleted really fast. Had enough time to make a screenshot though.
Wonder whether its from contributor/founder though. I own contributor pack and still waiting

Just trust that SD has set its agenda to return to the oldschool PC FPS (at least that’s my take off the trailer). Any testers in alpha more than likely will be there to expose things that can’t be tested/discovered as easily by a private dev team. I’m fairly sure they are still reading the forums here as well and are making decisions based off that too. It’s quite pricey to be a founder, but I’d expect only the real hardcore fans of SD to be purchasing it anyway- so I have some hope there as long as they were ET/ETQW folk.
