where do i disable that auto fire on switch?

i cant quickswitch anymore. impossible to play sparks now as i melee when i want to cancel a charge with my knife.

i didnt find the option and just quit, help welcome.

type this in your console while inmap and remove the keybind for your switch to melee weapon (default 3) in the settings
setbind three “weaponslotone | stopfire” 1

Agreed, this should really be a toggle option. I always knife cancel abilties as well, like… Sparks, or frag/molotov’s but its annoying to get that knife swing happening because of it.

If you time it just right, you can avoid the knife swing, but its silly to have to rely on that since it was a non-issue before they implemented this change. (never had issues with switching weapons and then just clicking right away).

Worked for me :smiley: Same text can be used in an autoexec using steam launch options as long as melee slot bind in game is removed.

Apparently no one in QA plays sparks??
