Where did the search feature go?

I’ve been looking all over the forums, and I KNOW the search feature is available, however on SOME sites it disappears. This is what it looks like:

However, on the General chat and other places it’s completely gone:

Yeah its weird I have to open a topic to search for a topic, intopicseption, also has the change username been removed also?

I see the search box right now while writing this post! It’s never been available from the subforum screen which is what you have pictured. You have to click on any thread and then it appears. I have no clue why that is but it’s worked that way ever since I started using the forums.

Its weird, because every other Nexon forum (running on Vanillaforums) has search even on subforum screen.
Also, this is what happens when you click on any badge:

So… uh… why is it no longer available in the general section and other sections? And why is it suddenly only available when IN a sub-thread?

I already explained that. It was never available in the general/other sections. It’s only been available when you click a thread. I don’t know why that is but it’s always been like that as far as I can recall.

Mystery solved. It’s there, but it’s hidden. Firebug/F12/whatever and you can search from anywhere :slight_smile:

Our forums are off site whereas everyone else’s are on site. :smile:

I let Vanilla know about the search bar issue issue a few weeks ago, alas, it is up to them to fix it. As for the badge thing, it’s a plug-in, so not a lot I can do there unfortunately!

lol I remember when I first started using the forums I never new there was even a search feature until some one stated “Use the search feature next time”. i was like what search feature. i didn’t figure it out until by accident some time later. i hope that does get addressed some time if it can. I know the lack of it was rather intimidating the first time I used the forums.

I’m sorry, I misunderstood you, and Rover’s screenshot shows more along the lines of where it went/ and or how it was invisible. I used to be able to find it in the General chat like what MarsRover posted:

The reason I’d been asking is because about 2 or 3 weeks ago I stopped seeing the bar IN THAT SECTION. And I also realized I wasn’t seeing it in other sections as well. :stuck_out_tongue:
