Where are these points coming from?!

So lately I’ve noticed something strage happening. Right when a match starts and we are unfrozen, running towards the objective, some people get a hand full of points. My question is, why? What did they do to earn points? And then why did other players not get any when they performed the same action?

Throwing health packs and ammo packs gives u xp as well as nade launcher ammo stations molotov ect. That can be deployed/fired right away

yeah but people didn’t throw anything. I’m 90% sure that throwing a health or ammo pack gives you more than 2 points.

That could be the “stick together” +2xp. You get some minimal XP when you stay with each other, and a bit more when guarding objectives.

I don’t think I ever saw the notification come up. And again, if everyone was together, why didn’t everyone get the points?

Some mercs are faster/slower and weren’t able to stay with the group.

They aren’t THAT far away. Like, the time it takes to get to the bottom of the escalators at attackers spawn on Underground.

We don’t know what the max range is to earn those points, so I would say the mathematical figure of ‘THAT far away’ is really an unknown. I guess the key is relative to the group rather than closest person to closest person. Also, you can earn experience doing other things like placing sticky bombs/firing nades, etc.

All of which weren’t occurring. Literally the only thing anyone on the team was doing was running out of spawn.

Why are you so stubborn? Obviously people who answered you have more knowledge about this. There is no magical EXP in this game. You either get some for actions, or for staying very close to the team.
I hardly believe you ran up in a clusterfuck so everyone got the “Stick Together” EXP if noone threw ammo packs or whatsoever. That’s why not everyone got the EXP.

You have to be close enough to hug them to get the points.

Ok now how do you explain a single point being earned. You guys were right about the “stick together” thing, but that’s +2 points. I’ve randomly gotten 1 point with no notification as far as I noticed.

Post a screenshot of it or a video. Mostly the points you’re talking about are stick together, people setting down/reclaiming deployables, firing grenades etc.

There’s experience given for sticking together, guarding the point, etc

So when we say work together, we mean it! :smiley:
