Hmm, not sure I understand what you are asking here?

I’ve understand that you want to make screenshots out of radiant.
Not sure if this is possible.
But if you have Windows as OS you can take screenshots with the print key.
It’s not saved but you can insert this screenshot print in a paint program.

u can download a screenshots program too for do it…

There are about three steps on how you can do this - and I’m assuming a windows system of course.

  1. If you have photoshop or some program…even mspaint you can just use printscreen on your keyboard to copy a snapshot of your desktop to clipboard.
  2. Then you can paste it into your paint program of your choice, crop out the parts that you don’t want. Save it somewhere you’ll know where its at.
  3. Then post it up to a place where you can store files online. I haven’t really looked into this - but I’m assuming that splashdamage’s forum doesn’t support posting up images to their server so you need to find somewhere to upload it to. Then when posting use the image tags to set the proper URL on the page and your set.

You can printscreen capture the image of your desktop whether your in gtkradiant or in the compiled test server.

This is a handy little site that I found recently. I found it odd that you don’t have to register with them.

Anyway, just browse for your pic and click on “upload”. That’s it. Simple as that. If you need to paste it into your posts, they even have the code ready for you, just copy the BBcode line from the first of the three windows, then paste in your message.

Jus be careful about the image size for web if you’re saving it with Paint though. I think it can only save in BIG bitmaps. Might want to change it to jpeg or something first. I could also be wrong…

Paint can save in Jpeg, GIF, TIFF or PNG aswell as BMP. It’s default is BMP so be sure to change the format in which it is saved. Unfortunately it doesn’ save in TGA though which Sock has said to be better for using textures, but for screenshots probably anything but BMP is ok.
