When will we get the throwing knife augment back ?

I used to get that augment from R51 Venerable Close Assault Proxy Loadout card, and while it was potentially a downgrade to classic melee for a lot of people, I have to say that I kinda liked the principle of that augment. If I remember well it was removed for balance issues (too hindering), but it could have been a great augment with just two simple additions : the ability to headshot with a thrown knife, and the ability to still be able to use light swipes.

When can we hope to see that augment back ?

I think they said that it may come back some time in the future in the form of customizable melee weapons but not as an augment.

Well, fair enough. I just hope R51 Proxy Loadout will get that knife back. It was pretty fun to play with.

It was fun but i dislike it just cuz it removes my cricket bat then on skyhammer with ak -.-

it’s gone forever, didn’t work for all melee weapons so it’s gone, something new in melee movement/style is likely on the way though
