When will this game hard link to Steam and stop allowing multiple name changes?

Will there be a point where this game permanently links to steam names? Just curious. Kinda think it would be a good thing.

Oh, now I get what you mean. Isn’t it easier to just… close the game, change your name and then turn it back on again?

Edit: Disregard that, I’m an idiot. What would the purpose of having a different name other than your Steam name on a STEAM-related game?

Ive been friending people who’s names dont match their Steam ID…so I thought it was still allowed.

it’s not released yet, still in Beta, I don’t think they’ve finalized full integration

It is hard-linked to steam and i see no reason to not allow name changes. What this game needs is a better steam integration, like Dota2 and CSGO.
