When will matchmaking actually start using ranks/the underlying rating system to make the matches ?

^^ question.
Currently matchmaking feels like totally random five players mashed up in a team against another five players without any real system behind it taking ranks or premade parties sizes into account.
Five random players with shite or no rankings at all facing full premade party of higher rated players just makes no sense at all. I am pretty sure most players would rather have longer queue times in exchange for more equally ranked teammates and enemies.

Are you talking about competitive or quick joining pub matches?

I’m so tired. I’m lvl 13 and I don’t care if I get paired against 30+ and get stomped but I always, ALWAYS get paired with fresh lvl 5 that don’t know how to play.

It’s so frustrating. They just rush and die. don’t even know how to aim.

Need better matchmaking asap plz m8 :c

There is zero reason to play competitive in a beta game that is still missing characters and has almost zero anti-hack protection.

So people are not supposed to enjoy playing the game like its supposed to be played with at least somewhat equally skilled players just because its beta ? If that was what they actually wanted they wouldn’t have put “competitive” matchmaking up yet in the first place.

I would suggest looking for players to team up with and search as a pre-made if you are getting frustrated at inexperienced players on your team. In fact, this forum has a Clan & Team recruitment section you might want to check out.

Grouping up doesn’t magicly remove the fact that half of your games will be against lvl5s who end up ragequitting after getting spawncamped for 10 minutes.

I’m really annoyed that I lost like 5 of the 7 competitive matches I’ve played because I’m matched up against veterans and founders who are like rank 40+ and spawn camp the living sh*t outta you.
