When is the next balance patch?

but there is no patch for three months.
when is the next patch?
when is weapon balancing and merc balancing?
when turtle coming out?
I want a more complete “Dirty Bomb”.

Personally, I think the balance is good enough for now. What we need is more maps. That’s the main thing.

When I say a stark Thunder and shotgun Fletcher, that means they are well balanced. Two of the most balanced mercs in this game.

At least there are no gamebreaking balance issues atm. It’s bad, but not THAT bad…

I am pretty sure Shoe said not so long ago (before MOFO) they will nerf proxy mines. Maybe Soon™.

I’m pretty sure it was a joke, like the video before where he says cobalt cards give you a 10% damage boost. Not entirely sure why everyone took him so seriously.

Proxy mines need beeger blast… because they’re too slow to take out Aura or Sparks. Even Arty and Skyhammer can trigger them and not die.

I’m probably in the minority here but I think merc balance is pretty good right now. In skilled hands each merc can fill his role pretty well.

Issues arise if people play their merc badly, for example the infamous 3/27 Vasitard, the Katana only Phantiot, the Pizza delivering suicidal Proxymoron etc.

Or if they play a merc in situations where others would be more appropriate. For example when someone plays Arty as attacker on Bridge mid section when they also have Stocker or Nader in their squad and could help blow up the generator.

Or when 3 players play the same merc though the team lacks a medic or engineer.

Or when players stick to a single merc for the entire match no matter what.

But to solve that, you’d have to fix the players, not the merc balance.

@teflonlove Yeah, I’m mainly talking about team balance in general. Those horrid players don’t matter if they’re evenly spread on both teams.

Although when someone knows how to use every piece of a merc effectively, you realize real balance issues. Arty airstrike spam, Fletcher being able to one-shot a huge amount of mercs, etc.
