When is the first patch coming?

We need a new server browser bad, take some notes from other games, the more options the better and change the way you filter server to a menu, i can’t even figure out how to work the filter on this browser. And let us see all servers if we want, even full ones, instead of limiting us to like 400 servers on the list at a time.

The first patch has already come out. (improved error reporting and fixed player data corruption error)

The second one, I heard, is supposed to be around Friday.

But I totally agree that the server browser filters are confusing/worthless the way they’re set up, and the server browser lags unbelievably.

I’m just relaying what I’ve heard from other people following the patch development more closely than I am. Everyone keeps telling me Friday.

Get the stick out of your bottom please. PC is better than consoles overall, that’s hardly a profound statement, but not everyone can afford a gaming PC and most causal gamers don’t care.

How about you care less about other people’s gaming habits and more about the important stuff. Like /not/ being malicious in all of your posts?

So, Indirect, this is my first post on these boards, congratulations to you! This is the second thread I’ve seen you blatantly blasting console users for NO reason. What do you think your posts are accomplishing? Do you think by **** talking anyone who uses a console you’ll make them go away?

YOU are hurting the PC community. I prefer PC over console as well, I bought Brink for PC. However, I don’t think anything negative about anyone who uses a console. You’re right, there are 360 and PS3 fan boys who yell about how much PC’s suck and whatever other insults they can muster. YOU are the PC version of that, how can you not realize that?

If you reply to this can you refrain from insults and give me constructive reasons as to why I’m wrong?

Oh, I very much do. Hopefully it will fix the freezes, the lag and the horribly lopsided AI (enemy AI = godlike, team AI = lobotomized lemmings). Right now, Brink is more frustration than fun, especially in the later challenge missions. And since you are practically forced to do them (no other way to get the weapon upgrades, which idiot came up with that idea, btw?) I would like to see a difficulty curve that will take into account normal skillz. I for one am not gifted with the reflexes of a 13-year-old caffeine addict, damn it.

Dude the challenges are easy. It took like an hour to unlock every attachment and weapon. That said, I couldn’t beat the campaign at all. I had to play it co-op with randoms to even have a chance and even then nobody’s particularly great yet, so it wasn’t much better than the AIs :stuck_out_tongue:

The lag however. . .

4 out of 5 matches I get in I can’t even move, then I run in place followed by 30 seconds of smooth gameplay followed by more teleporting. Feex eet pleez.

Yeh Ive seen “friday” spouted here and there, but no one says what system that patch is for AND no one can provide any kind of link. So its probably just rumor.

I dont see how the servers will work with it coming out in the EU tomorrow.
Theyre gonna crash if they dont fix the lag problem lol
