when do you report people??

was just in a game where our carrier got something like 107/12 using fragger on trainyad.
i didnt notice his monster score untill the final screen since i rarely spectate. but i did however check his profile and sure enough he has 1 vac ban about a year ago.

now i dont have ANY proof what so ever should i still report him??

i guess its possible to be that good but the previous vac speaks against… but i dont want to be that guy who says “i cant do it so he must be hacking” you know the sort… but still 107/12 is a beast k/d

i guess what i want is some guidance.
should i report on suspicion or do i need hard proof ?? and if i report falsely will i get an innocent person in trouble?? dont want that…

That score isn’t completely out of line for a Stopwatch match that goes a decent amount on both sides. Dropping 50 on a side in Stopwatch is super common when skill levels aren’t equal. But if they have a VAC ban I’d be suspicious too which changes the equation a bit. I’d go ahead and report using the proper channels and let Support figure out if the guy is legit.

Insightful explanation:40-50% of community have a 1 vac ban. Mostly it can come from CoD(since it was a bug and that bug gave auto vac ban) or trade one.

If i wonder who that person is then it gives me :o .

Seriously,80% of watched players by profile(from my hand) had a vac ban and they even sucked.

And my verdict is:Report him since he is more suspicious.

Dropping 50 kills in stopwatch is common. I’ve seen a comp player get 70+ in a pub game before now so it is totally possible. The new anti-cheat just got brought in so I doubt they would have reworked a hack just yet although its not impossible. I’d say on paper he’s legit and just a really good player, if on the other hand you was on the opposite team and he seemed suspicious with his aiming or pre firing then I’d advise a report.

i think im gong to let it slide since there were no hackusations from the other team and players seemed to know there way around the map so no noobs.
surely someone would have screamed if they felt it was unfair plus vac ban was over 2 years ago

one thing id like to know tho… when you get revived are you still on life nr1 or does it count as a death on your final score kdr ?

Oi, never report anyone cause a simple Screenshot isn’t any proof.
50/1 can be real, good sniper or Hardcore skilled player can do. without ingame Video function there is now way for a real proof. without banning players by unique guid Or something else reporting is useless.

Support has access to tools that allows them to see if somebody is cheating obviously or not. Do not let the lack of a screenshot or video keep you from reporting if you find somebody aimbotting. Try to get their Steam profile though since you can easily get that these days.

so i played this guy again and this time on the opposing team.

I/we got destroyed by this guy :slight_smile: he is legit and the best flanking player ive ever seen this guy is so good he makes hackers shit their pants. he also had more hours in the game than my whole team put together :slight_smile:

the funny thing is that at least from my perspective it never felt unfair he always made me feel that i screwed up and now my mercs need soft pillows to sit on :slight_smile:
