When do people que up for ranked?

So I’ve been really enjoying this game and want to try out ranked. The main problem is I can never find a match to play, even in the listed “peak time” and after waiting an hour. So this has me wondering, what times/days am I most likely to have others searching in the US?

On a related note, a friend told me you’ll pretty much only find a match if you’re in a group, if so, are there any places you guys you use to find groups to que with?

I have the exact same problem. I cant find any ranked matches I search and it says “less than 5 minutes.” But I find myself waiting for too long and I’ve never been I a match. And I think you invite friend inline to be in groups :smiley:

There is a steam group called “Dirty Bomb Elites”. Usually around evening they announce “Ranked Time! Queue up now!” and I’d guess a couple of people do that.

I doubt if that group works, I mean I did get some announcements when people want to start rank match, but last time I check I saw only like 21 people including me in that group.

Try Dirty Bomb’s official Discord channel for calling out Ranked queing. At this very moment around 280+ people online (obviously not all in-game), much more than some forgotten Steam Group :wink:

I can find a game or 2 per evening on EU peak hours pretty consistent. Too bad it’s usually the people who haven’t played tutorial getting demolished either on opposite or my side, giving up on the entire match and then it all quiets down.

In over 200 hours, I have never played a ranked match. I remember back about a year or so ago finding matches in ranked was possible, but I have never honestly been willing to wait the long wait times.

I haven’t tried joining ranked in a group, but no one I play with plays ranked either. The only way to fix it is for more people to play the game in general.

I would say to just stick to the normal servers. The balance isn’t the best, but playing the game is better then not playing the game.

Hopefully season 2 will get more NA players on. At least despite 100-190 ping I’ve been able to get to silver officer with 14 wins and 7 losses.

if my friend uses second account to play with me, I would find a match pretty quickly, but if two of us trying to use the main account, it will be as long as min 10 mins, and the most of the times, I could not even find a match after 10 mins which just make me cancel the searching.
