When can we get team number balance IN match, like Call of Duty. Im tired of seeing matches go 5v7

matchmaking is still horrible. In the end it doesnt matter if you win or lose, it is about fair teams to support the system and provide a joyable & fun time of playing in my opinion.

U should use your brain too prbly sometimes.
What is enjoyable on being force moved to opposing team? Imagine you spend good 10 minutes of intense fight for defending something, doing best from your team and BAM, you are attacking… This is the most annoying thing, being force moved to different team just because of un-balance. Now take stopwatch where it can be even worse, you defend a good time, now you are on attacking side, doing quite intense fight to beat the time… And BAM you are moved to other team, basically screwing up your last 20 minutes of game…

Come on guys :D
The same target from a different angle. But the difference is, you can prbly bring an impact into the current imbalance

Obviously it wouldn’t switch anyone when there’s very little time left in the game and obviously it wouldn’t switch anyone the second their team has 2+ extra players. There will be warnings and a set time before it forces someone and if you don’t switch in that time, then you or anyone from your team deserves to be forced onto the other team.

People that sit in a stacked team shouldn’t have their feelings considered, they were being dicks in the first place.

How could you sympathise with someone who goes like this:
“Oh no! I’ve been forced onto the other team, but I was enjoying my stomp!”

Yeah, those are definitely the kinds of people that should be catered to…
But that’s the thing, you don’t know who is gonna be force balanced. The way you punish the stacked team is that they have to wait longer to re-spawn. They don’t want to wait? They have to switch team and balance them out. This way you never force move anyone, but if one team has more players, it auto balance it immediately.

I would love to see you all how you are bunny hopping the teams the moment it gets disbalanced  Because it’s freaking public, and it’s disbalanced most of the time.
Whilst I’m all ears for hearing about Jazevec’s idea and agree with your viewpoint on “getting attached to your team”, the disagree and dislike button is there for a reason, you know, if people disagree with or dislike your suggestion. Just because someone says “no” doesn’t mean you need to “remind them to use their brains”. Maybe (just maybe) instead of insulting them and throwing around emojis when people disagree with you, keep it classy and under forum regulations.
The problem here is what would you do whilst in aforementioned “respawn queue”. I don’t know about the rest of you, but waiting in line for a respawn for potentially minutes doesn’t seem too dandy to me.

(Jostabeere) #25
@Pecka It’s a much worse solution than forcing balance because it will essentially take 2 people out of the game every spawn wave. How is making people unable to play better than just switching one person and everyone gets to continue playing?
So one guy switched freely and not forced. Either he can’t play or he is a fair-player.

I so much agree with the ending point, especially the bold.

Plus, Ive played in matches where a teams was getting wrecked by being down 2 men, so I switched and helped mount a comeback. And I was thanked for it, and it turned into a longer good game, rather than an annoying stomp-fest.

That’s what the respawn queue solves.

It won’t force anyone to other team, but keeps the game balanced until teams are even. Yes you have to wait for next respawn, but yes, it keeps the teams balanced.

No stomping, no force move of people between teams = win win…

(Pecka) #31

Specifically to this point, the guy as THE ONLY person here suggested a good solution working for everyone. People just start bashing dislike buttons, probably because of his comment about COD game (and not really any insultive, or offensive comment)

It’s fair to use whatever you want here, but you should not use it like small crying kid. And if you already use it, you should at least state why did you dislike or disagreed with the particular comment.

(Amerika) #32

I pretty much always end up switching sides when the power balance is off and the other team is a person or two down and we’re stomping. What’s hilarious is just how often the team you switch to will turn into the stomping team.

Personally, I don’t have a problem with auto balance these days, used to, but not anymore.

Honestly, and I think Amerika would agree with this, have auto balance there for uneven teams, as well as cue up thing, people can set this to “true” and they’ll be the first to be switched over in case teams become uneven.

I’d like that, it’s a pub anyhow so it doesn’t matter to me. My thoughts are literally this

So much shitposting in this thread. Wow.
You’re all wrong. Balancing by reshuffling mid-game is easily the most annoying way to do it. See every game that does this. The chat will be filled with people complaining when they get switched to the losing side. Most just leave the server at that point (including me) or just go afk.
A respawn queue is also a stupid idea, for obvious reasons.

Really, the current state of the game is perfect. Teams that become unbalanced in numbers quickly get rebalanced through new people joining an ongoing match. They’re not invested so they don’t mind being on the losing side for a couple minutes until the next round. It’s half expected really.
Frankly, I am astonished how quickly people refill a server in this game. The quick join matchmaking is on point. Hat off to the devs.

And after the round ends, teams even get reshuffled so there’s no continues pubstomps. Best game ever made. 10/10

And nimrod, tincan it. You think you look smart, but you really, really don’t.
