So because we’d like a control scheme that suits old school pc gamers as an option and doesn’t affect you whatsoever it’s not necessary ? Is everyone on troll like behavior nowadays? Hope there’s no limit tot he ignore list.

The F button (and the autolock/pull) is no problem at all if you just buff and revive anything with a pulse and don’t care who you spend your last pip on.
It becomes a problem if you want to buff/revive selectively, like when you want to buff or revive a particulair (key) player. Is that a weird concept for some people or what?
Selective buffing/reviving has been made somewhat aggravating with the current system.
Look at it this way. If you were a medic in rtcw or et and playing at a decent clan match level you simply wouldn’t be able to perform actions quickly or accurately enough with this control method. It’s a concession to playing with a pad and replaces speedy precise control with ease of use. We don’t need this dumbing down on the PC, we have a m&k
It seems that those of us who’ve had this problem, aren’t playing the game properly
lol, what a bunch of nubcaek veterans we are!
Protector - how can I not be “savvy”, when the downed player is filling my view dead-centre at point-blank range - then another player steps over them just before I press the use key? In the heat of battle, this is simply sometimes unavoidable. I’ve done everything right - distance, camera angle, the lot - but it’s then taken out of my hands, by a chance passing by of a player at close range.
All that was requested in the other thread (christ knows where you got “raging” from, or who you were even referring to), was the option for PC players to have their two abilities on seperate keys. Quite why you’re against this, I cannot understand
Aside from the reasons stated, it is also a big fat example of how the game has been console-ised, and has certainly lost some quality and intelligence compared to ET:QW.
The F key is kinda broken actually. It does not pick the guy you want to heal / give ammo but instead the other guy next to him, who is not in need of ammo or health. Even when you clearly see the guy you point at highlighted.
Also id like the support system better without the speed up and follow, seems like a console thingy to me. Just a fast click of F would be way better.
TIP:
When handing out needles just tap, don’t hold. Helps avoid making mistakes.
It targets the wrong thing at least half the time for me. I could revive much faster without F(uckup) key because I wouldn’t have to spend several seconds positioning myself so that there is no possible way for it to target something else. Also people really like to bunch up in this game which makes it even worse.
Dumbed down console trash. That’s why.
Obviously a console mechanic cause they don’t got that much buttons.
F key is like X,B,A, or Y on Xbox(dont know which key it is on Xbox for makin a action).
Or lets say it the other way round, they were too lazy or didnt had enough time.
The whole game was originally dev for console. I was actually surprised they were gonna release it on PC. The whole SMART button and OBJ wheel reek of console. If it was just PC, things would be different. Its adaptable, but I agree with the sentiments. I don’t like having my character pulled towards other teammates and CPs and randomly change classes.
