What's with all the mercenaries that don't exist?

I only just got access to this game, clearly so did a lot of people, and I remember adverts with other mercs to the ones available; most notably Rhino seemed cool and was used in advertising. So I came to the forums looking for answers and everyone’s talking about characters that aren’t currently in the game as far as I can tell. Basically, what’s up with that?

The official reason is that they are being adding to the game slowly to try and balance them better(rather than trying to balance 15+ mercs at the same time).

Rhinos “Role Call” just got released he will be in the game in like 1 week or 2.

Ahh okay, that was the impression I got from forums, but the meet the merc page and everything just pretends they never happened currently.

The same goes for us I believe we are not allowed to speak about how the beta was before the lift of the record ban :slight_smile:

Seems like they shot themselves in the foot with that one. NDAs for people who played an unfinished version are fair enough, but currently you have to go looking to find out there are more than 10 characters, that’s just abysmal promotion.

I should add - love the game, it would be fine with 10 but more options is always better.
