Naturally I don’t know about problems in waiting times or else for others (One player couldn’t connect / wasn’t ready /whatever), but honestly I stopped caring about it, too. Fuck it, they’ve had two years.
I don’t get it. My Ping issues are back on London and Frankfurt servers. 50-60 during the day and goes up to 130-140 at some point, usually around 7-8 PM, but yesterday it started at 5PM. Ping was normal untill then.
The weird thing is that it’s not related to any game as I have the same issue on other games and people from my country report the same on CS:GO. Other people from other countries are facing the same. There a post of a Polish guys describing the same issue.

@DefaultSettings I’ve noticed some correltaion between the playtime and the lag:
In peak times (weekend afternoon, workday evenings) it is much worse. However, if I get up in the morning at the weekend, I can play fine even on Stockholm servers with ~60ms ping.
Every 2nd game the MM puts me on a stockholm server now, it is really frustrating.
It got to the point that I check the server when I load in, and if it is Stockholm, I don’t even wait for the match to sart, but close the game and do something else for a few minutes (so I won’t re-join the same **** server).
This would prevent me from playing ranked even if I wanted

Looks like I’m cursed.
I do have time to play now, but I can’t because the MM put me on a stockholm server which I abandoned, and in the server browser there are only stockholm servers running…
So the only DB related thing I can do is whining on the forums
Really weird. For me it’s the other way around. I can only play on Stockholm ones as they give me around 80 ping. On German and UK ones, I have 50-60 untill 8PM when it jumps to 120-140.
My ping on http is fine. Tracert I perform do not point at any problematic node My Download - upload values are normal. I have tested on one other game (COD 2, yes, the old one) and my ping is perfectly fine.
I will try another game this week end.
Some people on Reddit have 140 ping on London servers when they live in Germany.
Very annoying. My ISP claims it’s not on their hand and I somehow trust them (untill I test another game to be sure). It’s been two weeks now.

We did report on Reddit. We have like 3 threads there concerning this. It impacts very few people. SD may state the issue is not on their hands. With the little knowledge I have on network, I can’t figure it out clearly. I’ll do more cross testing this week end, with other games, and spme traceroutes as well.
So, I gave Ranked one, errr… two tries. First one was ok, got put on a london-server, as shitty, as they also became nowadays (hey, at least they are getting some common thread into their hosting), but still playable.
But hey the second one was kinda funny. Yep, the search for players/server, everything the same as in casual. And everything went ok until it wanted to connect my client to the one game-server, which it found to be the “most suitabel one” for me (hihi, yep had to be a Stockholm-one). But then it (oh snap!) suddenly “Lost the connection to the server”… The connection which wasn’t even there before, because I fucking blocked it right from the start. But the routine found it to be the “most suitable one” for me, even if it couldn’t even ping the ip. Ahhhhh, logic here.
Hey, asking me, you should first test the connection everyone has to whatever server(s), and then let them connect to it, after they at least were able to ping it, especially if you wrote them “most suitable server”. But no, there is no check for the connection of the single client. Probably more a check which is the cheapest server for this reagion to start atm?
So as usual with this game, I haven’t got a clue what they are smoking and/or drinking, and if they’ve even ever wanted to learn “something with computers”. So to put it simple, just the next “WTF?!”-moment happening in Dirty Bomb. But hey, we all got used to it, I think. It wasn’t really that unexpected, I was more like “Let’s confirm it”.
Btw: As You all expected, guess what probably happened?! I think, the next “SD-Balanced” ranked game 5vs4, but as I couldn’t connect, hell I don’t know, I simply guess. At least I hope that, because the connection was lost, I didn’t get a penalty, probably I should try it a few times more, to confirm this? Nah, I’m not that asshole getting nine people more fed-up each time, enough people like ranked already

PS: How about selling random lootboxes for 4,99 which give you a chance to play on a “Deluxe-Connected-Server”?
And in short: Don’t try to play ranked if you blocked server/ip-ranges, you probably simply will fed-up people.

There is definitely something wrong with Stockholm server, even today as I was playing on this server, with pretty horrendous ping, its was near impossible to get kills even though our team had lower ping than the enemy team.
How can an enemy player with 200 ping get constant kills while players with lower ping can barely hit!! just don’t make sence!
