What's the status of the hacker prevention system?

A question to any devs who can give information about the topic. Just a bit curious because of the hackers I’ve seen recently in competitive matches.

I just got a 24 hour ban for leaving a matchmaking game vs a blatant aimbotter. The system is fucked atm. The anti-cheat is rubbish and the penalties are absurd.

Sick of seeing the same individuals cheating non-stop in matchmaking and being penalized for not wanting to play with cheaters.

Could they implement some sort of overwatch (Like CS:GO) system to eliminate the cheaters and reward the overwatchers with some bronze cards (Because they have no market value)? ;D I would like 4 obsidian loadouts for the idea proposal, ty nexon!

You aren’t alone with these kind of questions, I have played the game for 120 hours.

I encountered second obvious cheater yesterday, he put on the so called aimbot rage mode. I spammed the chat and VOIP with a vote kick request and we managed to get enough people to vote kick him under a minute.
Sadly too many people don’t understand that the community depends on them for self policing. Also the voting system is not obvious enough and easy to miss for some people.

I left another MM last night due to a blatant cheater on the other team. I suppose it will be a 24 hour or 7 day ban for me…

Thanks for punishing me for not wanting to play against a level 14 obvious cheater who has been allowed to play your game for weeks “undetected”.

LEVEL 14 AND LEVEL 30 CHEATERS STILL PLAYING, NOT EVEN TRYING TO HIDE IT…

Don’t competitive have a spectater mode? You could spectate that hacker who don’t even hide it, record it, and report him.

You can’t spectate the other team.

About the question OP threw in however, I don’t think we will, or even should, get any other answer from Splash Damage devs themselves nor Nexon devs apart from “issue is being looked into”.

They say anything clear about it and those lowlife communities will catch it and start working on a counter which can be put place at the same day the new or “new” (as in some other already existing one) Anti-Cheat is introduced. Not that they wouldn’t already have workarounds for existing ACC:s. Least like this they’ll most probably take bit longer to rework their filthy code once that day comes.

Guessing (and hoping) that’s the part of the game, that will be shipped, “when it’s done”.
