Whats happened to this game?

Updated and came back in for some games; well can say game is shite.
Insta or nearly insta kills by every single item. Fk half the time kills look like running aim assist. (Maybe its due to the other games I been playing.)

Are devs trying to bugger game up completely?

Some of the map tweaks are good, some are horrid.
Spawn camping or blocking needs to be addressed.

Can see why player numbers are falling off.

well, thats your opinion, i think DB needs some tweaks, but isnt as bad as you describe

Dirty Bomb is nowhere near perfect and it has issues.
However, there is no reason why the developers would want it to fail.

I recommend you to play on 6 vs 6 servers to reduce the spam the bigger servers include.
By the way, there is no aim assist in place.
You are probably just a bit rusty.

It would be great if you could tell us which specific map changes you like/dislike.

Practice your reaction time again, fam. It’s pretty easing outrun and outgunning anything if you’re fast enough to react.

Just need to get used again I guess.

I know I am rusty, 1st game back and I was killing everything with ease. Next game happened to get in already going and spawn trapped, next game again, everyone easy to kill.
They have done something damage taken (ie none) thus making it feel like aim shoot kill.

My comment re maps was more positive/negative aspect - I do like things being tweaked and good on the devs but what has happened in last updates the game has changed.

Reaction time is not the problam. I was saying it now seems too easy to kill than previous…

How so?

Some of the OP guns were nerfed a while back, and while a few guns received minor buffs the TTK hardly changed at all. From memory none of the abilities changed either, unless I’m mistaken.

Care to elaborate a little more?

I just recently installed this game again after like 9 months of not playing, and for some reason the time to kill feels a lot lower than what I remembered.
Dunno what it is, haven’t read all the patch notes, not saying that it’s necessarily a bad change, just that it feels a bit odd.

If I recall correctly jungle_gnz is an Australian player and from memory he was a Proxy main. If that is still the case, I mean she’s pretty squishy, and players get better as time goes on. I often 1 hit kill the squishy mercs with the Stark, even at long distance. But I guess if you’re going to use female mercs you should probably expect to die quickly, because they just don’t have enough health.

No matter how hard you try in my opinion, there will always be some tactic of camping a spawn room available to the player. If anything it really boils down to team and mapping balance. It can range from unintended clipping bugs, to even a sharp corner. But remember hot off the heels of this update I wouldn’t expect something like this in the near future, but if SD does. They will know map balances exist. The big question though is are you using Quick Play or the server browser? While yes, community-match making is still under way. The most recent update to QP is going to factor your current level when quing a match. So give QP a whirl again, even if it ques you with some pudding-heads.

I have the pleasure of not having been spawn trapped in great a while, and while it may be like speaking Alien in public games; the best way to push back a spawn trap is to work as a team and have a diverse enough roster when the occasion arises. It’s why I always bring one Medic, Engineer and an Assault/Fire Support/Recon I’m confident with. Also putting your all for, and having a lot of momentum; as the hand that strikes, also blocks.

I am not complaining about dying. I AM SAYING that coming back into game and with updates it seems too easy to kill others. Game seems like a very fast paced run gun kill/die game. It has lost something it had months ago.

Nothing changed in that respect though. The TTK is exactly the same it’s always been more or less. Maybe you just got better some how?
