whats gonna happen with unused boosters

in my case they are alot … cause “they work as intended”

can we atleast keep them for next shitty event with boosters

Probably either vanish or be turned into an amount of credits you won’t want to look at.

I imagine they will completely vanish. I would suggest not buying any more unless you REALLY want to try to get a skin. Hexads will be converted to credits at a 1:1 ratio.

This is terrible. I really hate all this second currency bullshit. The first events were nice because the currency was your credits. The conversion rate of credits to hexads is about 31 credits per hexad if you buy the 400,000 credit one, which is awful.

That is why you need to spend them during the event. The concept of a limited time event is to draw folks in, not as a farming tool for existing players.

unsure how anyone could disagree with this

And what if people were spending them “properly” and still get nothing?
Like @Pumpkiller said in another thread, that he bought 31% booster and didn’t get a single case. That is like days worth of playtime during the event for nothing.
It can happen, RNG is like that.

The 1% drop chance cases were for choosing proxy’s new look, few people got event cards from those (anyone with basic mathematics knowlegde can see that boosters are better to get event skins). So in the end they were just regular cases you could waste your remaining hexads on, before the event ended.

@Nail ThePigVomit’s answer can be interpreted that it is the players fault if he has a reasonable (like 10-15%) booster when the event ends, he should have “spend the hexads during the event”.

THAT, I disagree with, but not sure of this is what he meant.

Hexads were awarded in addition to regular XP from playing. No reason to feel bad about playing more during an limited time event to increase odds of getting limited edition skins IMO.

The biggest issue with boosters is that they aren’t well received when players don’t get something they feel they are promised by RNG. Right or wrong, it is certainly frustrating. SD seems to be aware that boosters have issues based on Exedore’s response on Reddit. I honestly didn’t expect to see them after what happened with the ReV event. Glad to hear they will be refining the implementation further to reduce frustrations.

@pumpkinmeerkat thanks for linking the Reddit post!

You are right about the most part, but forgot that you could buy hexads with real money. The biggest bundle had like 15 euro price, and you could buy ~40% booster for that. People knew what they are buying for sure, but I would be still pissed if I had boosters left and my boosters simply disappeared.

This is why I only bought cases after my first case dropped.
