What would you do with 30 bucks?

After a week or so of fun gameplay in DB, I decided to spend some bucks on the game (sure, it may sound silly, why should i pay IRL money on the F2P game), but i think it’s fair to support the devs and give something back. So, as a beginner (with Aura and Sky, i missed the PCGamer free merc), what should i do, how would you do if you are in my position.
Should I get Ultimate Pack or buy two merc bundles? price is almost the same, in Ultimate pack i get 50k credits, 5 mercs and 2 elite cases, but if i take 2 bundles, i get 4 elite cases, 6 mercs and no credits. I would go with two bundles, because of 6 mercs, 4 cases and it’s fun to “farm” credits anyway, but what is your opinion?

so long as you can get 6 mercs you want out of the bundles go that route. the 50k credits will buy you a merc, so you get 6 anyway from the starter pack. You get 2 more elite cases doing the two bundles for the same price.
All depends on what mercs you want.

if you do some research you can get at least 2 mercs for free… which makes the ultimate pack a bit less desirable.

I spent a couple days playing and decided to just buy the ultimate myself. Considering how much I have played the 30 dollars was a decent investment.

Wait for the Free Merc weekend and try out all of them.

I bought the Deployable (no remorse there).

BTW the 4 elite cases vs 50k credit. For 70k credit you get 4 bronze card of your choosing (no RNG bull… with useless cards).

I’d go with the ultimate, 50k credits is a another merc or you can get 3 bronze loadouts for the one you get.

I think you also get 2 Elite boxes. I’m pretty sure I got 2 and was shocked because I didn’t notice it listed on Steam.

just checked, yeah you get 2 Elite boxes, I had to click “read more” to see it listed.

Thanks for the replies, i will consider the Ultimate pack then. As for the free merc weekend, it’s a great idea from devs to players and good marketing too :slight_smile:

Fragger is no longer available which the OP mentioned “i missed the PCGamer free merc”.

I’ve no idea about the other one robustWonder is referring to.

I would definitely recommend you get the starter pack bundle for 30 bucks.

You get 5 useful mercs including <3 Proxy.

2 Elite cases (I unboxed a gold proxy from mine)

and 50k credits to buy whatever merc/loadout card you want!
