there was no DMG shield
he had a pistol, instead of SMG
he had a katana lunge attack with a significant speedboost.
he was not hated =)

He was less noisey and less visible when moving, also he was still hated even then.

he was either very OP or very UP

He was more OP then he is now. The only difference now, is there are more people to cry about it, then in Closed Beta.
