What version of radient is best for ET mapping?

Currently I’m using GtkRadient 1.3.8-ET, and it seems the more I use it the buggier it gets. When I first started useing it when I highlighted a brush it would show up red, in all the views, now in the 3D view it only gets outlined in white. And if I select just one face it doesn’t highlight at all. Also in the Entities window for func_explosive there is no option button(spawnflags) for dynomite. (I haven’t seen anything else ,so far) And once and awhile everything will turn red and I have to close and reopen it.
I tried the latest version 1.3.13 and when I open the entities window nothing shows up to select and there is no “middle” window anymore with all the descriptions/flags/etc.

Thanks,

These are not bugs but options being changed as you go. The initial problem most people have with using GTK radiant is that the keyboard is a minefield of shortcuts. For example if you press J it change the selection types from white wireframe with red tint -> white wireframe -> nothing and finally back to beginning again.

Ok thanks, thats one solved
What about the missing spawnflag button for dynomite in the func_explosive?
And why would everything turn red in the map, when I’m not even touching anything(k/b or mouse)?

but is there gonna be updates, cause i always have bugs with compiling and crap like that

Pressing i inverts selection, so if you had nothing selected at the time everything would turn red.

You just have to move the handles to make them show.

Thanks guys, but there’s one left.
How come there is no button for dynomite in func_explosive?
Here’s a pic of what I’m talking about:
No Dynomite

The one on the left is from a rtcw version of radiant.
