what type of crosshair do YOU use?

Hey guys,

Just curious, what setting do you have your crosshairs at? FULL or DOT? For me, I have Full because it helps me keep track of my CoF bloom, and I have a big bright green dot in the middle b/c red gets lost sometimes.

whichever crosshair you use, turn off hit-markers, and switch hit-beeps on in audio.

DOT for me. I’d pick something between FULL and DOT, if it was available. Nice to see the spread, but FULL is way too much visual clutter, to line up them heads.

DOT crosshair, medium size - small is just…too small on 1080p. Red = 102, Green = 255, Blue = 0, equals a bright green dot.

I feel like DOT doesn’t show you the bloom though, do you guys find that a problem or do you just learn burst patterns of each gun at longer ranges

Bloom? You mean spread? I don’t really care what the spread is, I just keep my crosshair on the target and try not to go full auto at range since I know that does blow it up quite a bit.

It really doesn’t matter if you know the spread size or not, either way you put the center dot on the target.

Max size bright green DOT

I am at 60 hours playtime and I don’t have any issues. I played with default crosshair for the first 10-15 hours and changed to DOT after learning how each gun handles. I don’t need to see the crosshair to know the bloom.
By the way, I get the feeling that the default crosshair doesn’t give an accurate depiction of the bloom. Most guns seem to have a tighter spread than what the crosshair shows you.

I love the full crosshair as it is. White. I like being able to see my spread and bloom and I’m at 140 or so hours and still lovin the full crosshair

I would love if I could change the crosshair to the one in Brink. Def one of my favorite crosshairs next to Blacklight Retribution

I’d prefer a tight, green cross, with a hollow center, though.

Medium dot, pink (255, 85, 150). I’d really like more options for both types of crosshair and customization of each one.

What I would really like actually is for there to be an option for the crosshair to change colour on hit like quake, instead of giant hit markers being added diagonally everywhere.

Don’t think I’m 100% happy with any of the current ones. Seems like I use a new one every day.

Currently using large full size (yup, the fucking big one).

Medium dot, bright red. Really like it. Reminds me of my ET days. Thinking about switching to another color though. Hit sounds on and hit markers off.

Is there a way to make hit sounds louder? They’re good, better than markers, but I just can’t hear them.

Medium Cyan DOT with 0.1 hit-markers :wink: (useful for explosives and they otherwise don’t bother me much)
