What to buy bronze card or normal drop case

(Sithas) #1

So i´m not really a new player but i throught it was more fitting to post it here.
Anyway, i have bought all the mercs and now i have too much credits piling up doing nothing.
My question is; is it better to buy normal drop cases and hope for a high rank card, or could i better buy bronze cards and trade these in for a higher lvl card?

Whatever some more M.A.T.H (Mental Agony Targeted at Humans) fancy fellas answer you, remember to save 50+17,5k for next merc release so ya won’t feel left out

I already reserved 100k credits for turle and aimee, but thanks for the warning anyway

I read something about there being an extremely rare chance of getting a higher level card for the merc you want if you try drop cases. I would think to go bronze cards first, so that you can get buffs, and then once you have the loadouts you want, and if you feel like gambling, to buy cases. There’s really no bonuses going any higher than bronze - it’s all cosmetic. If you still want to, then trade up. Keep in mind, though, it’s hella expensive.

I’ve never read that.
Neither do I believe that level up cases may give you a rarer loadout card - atleast I didn’t get anything higher than iron ever.

never do that…it’s simply not worth it from the economical perspective. At a later stage when you have all the mercs you want, it’s very easy to get hold of bronze cards by trading up irons. You just roll it until you have what you want. It’s gonna be much cheaper at the end.

Since none of the above comments have yet to be use horrendous methods I described, looks like my sense of duty won’t leave me alone if I won’t approach the subject. goddamn sense, stahp bothering me already sheesh. Statements are true tho, it is better to buy cases if looking for something above bronze.

Bronze card, when bought straight from store, is 17 500 credits each. 4 is required for silver trade-up, meaning 70 000c. Quite a price.

As we know, equipment cases are 1 000c. So you’ll fatten up your invetory with 70 of those goodies with same amount. Even in worst case unlucky scenario, and in case one would get this result, I’d love to have them as a car-driver for my mother-in-law you’ll get 70 leads. In reality you’ll have some irons and even a bronze or as lucky lil’ bástardo, even higher ones.

But 70 leads, let’s break it down. 3 for iron, meaning you can create 23 of them (leaving 1 lead for saving). Again 3 irons for bronze, getting 7 of the latter (leaving 2…? irons for later). With 7 bronzes you can create only 1 silver, but already having 3 extra bronze left for next tradeup.

TL;DC?

So all in all, it’s better to buy from store if a specific Bronze is what one longs for. However if bronzes are for mere tradeup material, cases are where it is at, confirmed.

Hmm i will buy bronze card for the new mercs then and the rest goes straight to the rng god.

I’d say only buy Bronze cards for loadouts youneed to have (C94 Phantom, 383 Sparks, G41 Redeye, etc.). If you don’t want any particular card, then buy cases with your credits and use them as infinite trade up fodder. It’ll do you well.

Agreed. And buying equip cases always offers the opportunity to get loadouts of a higher rarity.
Im lvl 44 so I´ve opened a couple of casesand I have already received 5 golds and like 15 silver cards. It is always a decent idea to purchase some cases if you have many credits because you can trade the lead stuff up and if you´re lucky you may get better stuff

Better save to 150 because i heard there were 3 comeing this year
