What time on Wed will the DLC be ready to download?

When can I download it? I am on vacation this week, so will be able to get on that **** right away! Also, will it show up in the menu after I load up Brink, or will I have to search the marketplace? Any help is greatly appreciated. :slight_smile:

You said marketplace, so I assume you’re on the 360. If that’s the case, regardless of when it comes out, if you have access to the internet you can “buy” it on xbox.com and send it you your your console’s download queue. That way it will download the next time you boot up your xbox. As long as you click download on xbox.com before the two weeks, you’ll own it for free.

Dlc is posted to the marketplace by Microsoft. It usually goes up around 1 pm est, but I’ve seen items post at 5 am.

Hopefully it will be released at midnight, or around 8 am. Generally xbox updates the marketplace at or before noon.

I stumpled upon it while browsing the source. It cracked me up, so I thought I’d share it…

I can do that :slight_smile: It’s a chunk of “QuakeC” code, something JC wrote for the original Quake. Based on the filename above the code chunk, this comes from the ET source code. The code is about to handle player/entity death, based on the passed in weapon. The switch statement is checking whether the means of death was “telefrag”, and is probably about to return true after making a comment to Gordon (?) indicating that telefrag is indeed explosive - some kind of in-joke maybe? :slight_smile:

Will be interessting to see when its released as it wil be comming after the weekly store updates. From what i have seen in the past DLC not released with the weekly store update tend to come at any random time they decide to do it (whoever is in charge of putting it up). Gonna be checking non stop all day waiting for it unless we get a timeframe. Been waiting sooooooooo long and playing a lot of Section 8, need my Brink!!!
