What THE @#!$

Okay so whenever I play this game EVERYTHING GOES WRONG. The bugs are just horrendous. IF I press R the run menu pops and if I press W the screen exits and opens side panel. and if I press 4 it opens default browser. My headphones start screeching. Overall just awful experience.

(doxjq) #2

That doesn’t sound like the game to me. Sounds like you’re using windows keyboard shortcuts.

(gg2ez) #3

Oh, I thought you quit?

(darlingClaymore) #4

Yes they activate randomly

(darlingClaymore) #5

On topic pl0x?

Then it’s not DB that has an “overall horrible experience”, it’s whatever machine you’re using.

That’s something to do with your setup then. Not Dirty Bomb. The game itself isn’t causing your OS to spawn random windows commands from your keyboard. I don’t even think that’s possible.

Did I mention it goes into windowed mode for no reason? I sometimes have to shutdown for this bug. I figured out it can be closed via task manager. The game feels very buggy, the audio is weird too.

No because this machine will run gta V on every setting maxed out 60fps @ 1080p
that’s locked, it can go 80fps. I can run warthunder on Movie settings, 50fps. This Computer has no problems its always up to date. Except for the audio something got messed up there during transfers of cases etc, even then the audio works fine for other games.

I dunno, it’s fine on my end.

(darlingClaymore) #11

^ I know some people have similar issues. But everyone has their share of weird bugs. You are maybe using Nvida which clears all issues because bribery

(gg2ez) #12

Yep. Using Nvidia, not sure wtf it has to do with bribery but yes, I am using Nvidia.

Nvida bribes companies to use their shitty #@$ pyhsX and programs so there products stand out.

Right, the thing that happened 5 years ago that was brought up by a rival company? No, couldn’t be propaganda could it? I mean, it’s not like Nvidia totally disputed those claims, right? Right?!

(darlingClaymore) #15

5 years ago? lol it happens every game release. AMD is just crushing GPU race with lower prices/better cards (on neutral games) while losing the CPU race.

(gg2ez) #16

Okay, let me ask you a question: Why would Nvidia choose to bribe a developer to make a game with their PhysX engine if it might fail on the market and why would a dev choose to use something that doesn’t meet their needs? It makes no sense to put money on something that won’t work or may fail. Come on man, where’s your rock solid proof that Nvidia has been bribing developers to use PhysX on every single release? There isn’t any, just empty accusations.

Either way we’re looking at it here, your bug seems to be unrelated to either Nvidia or AMD if it’s triggering Windows errors.

(darlingClaymore) #17

Its not any GPU causing it, its the game. PhysX does work, but its nothing compared to what AMD has. But nvida has money and AMD doesn’t. Battlefield, saintsrow, Sniper elite have AMD mantle and run great on any AMD machine. Remember the pilling of dead bodies at start of games? crushed my FPS because of the insane amount of pyshX

(gg2ez) #18

Can’t put my finger on it. It can’t be the game causing it because none of us experience it and they seem to be Windows errors so you might have to repair your OS.

(darlingClaymore) #19

yeah no… If it only happens in one game constantly its not me. I don’t have this issue in heroes and generals, PS2, GTA V, csgo, spintires, or armored warefare.

(gg2ez) #20

I dunno. Might wanna try it anyways. It’s all I can think of.
