What temperature is in DB maps??

Food for thought.
Seein’ how the next merc will be an Eskimo, wearing a warm coat, and some mercs being sleeveless and some packed with heavy gear. This really confuses me about the DB climate.

I know it’s video game logic, and Lara Croft was coatless in the Himalayan mountains, not catching hypothermia. But it’s more of the lore question than anything.

Considering the usual climate of great britain and the fact that rain is likely not shown due to game performance concern, you can safely assume a rather cold-ish temperature.

Also the clothes of the new merc doesn’t seem THAT warm to me, aside from the hat.

UK never warm at the best of times  Tho dependign on severity of nuclear attacks could be lookign at a Nuclear Winter event - (lazily copied from wiki)

Nuclear winter is the severe and prolonged global climatic cooling effect hypothesized to occur after widespread firestorms following a nuclear war. The hypothesis is based on the fact that such fires can inject soot into the stratosphere, where it can block some direct sunlight from reaching the surface of the Earth.

He might just be a tourist confused by the weather conditions. I have been travelling to London one week every year since 2002 and I still haven’t figured out what to wear to be kept warm on the streets while not sweating to death on the underground.

Whatever the temperature in London is. If I had to guess the season I’d say it’s the spring or summer because there is no snow and yellow leaves.
I don’t live in the UK so idk what the usual temperature is there during the spring/summer

Whatever it is, I’m sure it’s considerably better than the moist, tropical oven here.

Anyway DB’s weather is not realistic as all. Everyone knows it’s always raining in UK.

Well, if you don’t count Chapel and Castle, all other maps are set in a sunny day. So, it’s not really a performance issue, but rather how the game looks great. Which leads me to think that they’re lying to us when they say that Dirty Bomb is set in London

better than being called In-jun

Well, keep in mind fighting keeps you really warm too. So even if it’s freezing out, you can get away with not wearing much because you’re moving around so much. I’d assume that’s the logic behind a lot of the clothing the mercs wear. And the rest who are overdressed are secretly dying

“Alaskan Wilderness Expert” doesn’t say Inuit to me, looks like a hipster

Agree, nothing about him looks Inuit except his snow goggles, although his knives look a bit like a modern take on the traditional ulu.
