Hopefully we can set aside console fanboy-ism in hopes of seeing how each system pans out in terms of players.
What system will you be getting Brink for?
I am firmly of the belief that you need a mouse and keyboard (PC) for FPS and RTS, and a joypad (console) for 3rd Person shooters and side scrollers.
Which is why I have a RumblePad 2 for my PC
Best of both worlds
i vote for PC
cuz if i had to launch lan-party, i used to use PC’s
p.s.
buy ?
what for ?
consumers with outdated PC’s can upgrade it seamlessly.
consoles owners already have consoles[but buy current, nearly-canceled-deprecated generations todays is …not smart move…]
At the moment I am undecided, my heart says PC but my head is starting to say PS3/Xbox360
too much emphasis on character customization, coop game-play, bling-bling, and RPG stuff =>Xbox/PS3
too much emphasis on mplay, skill and team tactics => PC
The only gaming system I own is a PC so thats my choice. Can’t stand the consoles just not fun at all for me.
I hope Brink is not just another game in the current trend of PC console ports.
im more stick to “threating consumers more serious.”.
cuz whole “consoles” market is more reming me taliban training camp or Guantanamo NB, rather than Business.
Keep in mind that SD has, up till now, been solely a PC developer and these are their forums. A poll in this location and at this time (before any serious marketing) should not be expected to accurately reflect actual sales.

Sorry, what?
PC, just built my first computer a few weeks ago and really love PC gaming. Its much better than the Xbox I used to play…obviously
lol, and the lack of people who would vote for PS3. I’m getting mine on PC for sure, and one of the 2 consoles. Preferrably PS3 because I don’t have to pay to play online. But I’m cutting back on the habit of buying 2 of the same game for different systems.
As far as I know, there will be dedicated servers for both PC and Console versions.
And Senethro, those extra copies will be for my three sons. Until I know more about the game, I simply cannot commit to getting a whole family set of it. I will be surprised, however, if the future unveil does not persuade us to pre-order four copies.
Speaking of which, at this point, there is no “Asia” version listed for Brink. I need the game to run on my Region 2 Xboxen, and if the “USA” copies are region free, I am set, otherwise, I need to get the “Asia” version.
I might buy the ps3 for it, Cause im TOTALLY fed up with paying for just online play on xbox live,
I have bought the game didnt i…?
Everything costs money: demo download?s only if you have gold membership “after a while silver”,
name changing 800 MS points, gamerpics “no customs allowed” 20 ms points… etc
no quiting my little tirade.
My PC is also very up too par, yet i like relaxed comfy tele entertainment.
So it might be/very likely the PS3.
Just built teh new system:
Intel i7-860, nominal clock speed 2.8GHz, 4 hyperthreaded cores (8 logical cores)
4GB of DDR3 @1600MHz
eVGA 9800+ PCIE 2.0 512MB of GDDR3
Western Digital 750GB SATA 3.0 Gbps
XP Pro 32bit Service Pack 3
From boot screen to fully loaded system tray, ready to work, 17 seconds. it’s smokin’ fast. I may add 64 bit dual boot Ubuntu, depending of the availability of a linux client for Brink.

i meant that guys, whose start/operate/maintain/try2improve “consoles”-related market, shoulld STOP threating consumers as hostages, as scum, as pieces of crap.
or society will retaliate whoooosh !!
sooner or later, one way or another. eventually.
PC for sure for me. I might even upgrade for it if need be. I’m running a 5850 in a OC rig sop should be fine. Maybe a new screen to soak it all up
