What Should I Get?

I am looking at getting a new merc. I already have all of the mercs I want most, so now I have to either randomly choose, or narrow down the options. Here’s what mercs I have:

  • Skyhammer
  • Aura
  • Sparks
  • Kira
  • Bushwhacker
  • Proxy
  • Redeye

My favorite 3 guns (what I would want to use):

  1. M4A1
  2. Dreiss AR
  3. SMG-9 (don’t ask)

I like fast mercs, or mercs with a lot of firepower. Here’s my current list of candidates:

  • Arty have tried
  • Stoker have tried
  • Aimee have tried
  • Nader have not tried
  • Phoenix have tried

What do you think I should get? I have enough credits right now to buy Arty, so currently he’s one of the more appealing. I also have an S83 Technical Rifleman for him. I love Stoker, and did very well with him when I played him on FR. I have a couple good cards for Aimee, and I did pretty well with her on FR. I will not get Nader until I try her out, but she has a promising selection of guns and I have done target practice with her grenade launcher… I am very good at medics, and Phoenix was no exception. He also gets very good gun selection.

If you think that I should definitely not get any of these, please say so.
IN YOUR RESPONSE, PLEASE INCLUDE WHAT MERC YOU THINK I SHOULD GET. (Unless you have no opinion.)

Arty is a really good choice.Also fragger with m4 because fragger can really get lucky with his grenades and you don’t seem to have a merc with high health to push into battles.

I tried Fragger, and I did awful with him. I didn’t even have fun playing him. I would consider it, but usually Fire Supports like Skyhammer and Stoker can push just as well as Fragger. (BTW I have tried Fragger with the M4. I still sucked)

I say go with what you love first. You already know you want him so get him already. :slight_smile:

Then I would say:
Phoenix, Arty, Aimee, Nader after you have tried her

Nader is rather fun to play I think but try her out for yourself first.

Definitely go with Nader, she is fun/easytouse/effective, she can use smg9 :slight_smile: and also got the best [spoiler]rear ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)[/spoiler] in the game

Nader if you want something new, Arty is Skyhammer but with Burst Rifles and the Dreiss.

Farty is limited in usefulness to select maps and his functionality takes practice.

Stoker plays well on all maps, even though his fire is bugged currently. He should be fixed soon, and he provides a lot of good gameplay options. In a clutch, he can save against suicide proxies planting last minute. Yes, even the terrible ping abusers who are warping around or have no hitbox that think they are " good " .

Nader is also good. Bouncing her eggs of death around corners, or showering a cluster of enemies is fun and rewarding to the team. She also provides makeshift fire support in a pinch.

Phoenix is phenomenal when played well. Top score on the board everytime if you play him properly. Frankly you might want him first, since he will help you level faster and earn more credits.

if you like M4A1 go for stoker. Arty is my most fav merc though. As for medics Phoenix is insanely good “is hard to put him down” which is really true :wink:

Dreiss
Arty is super fun. He is not like Skyhammer at all. Great not only on EV maps, but also for clearing out camping spots and protecting the C4.

SMG-9
Nader is as fast as assaults get. She is fun and versatile.
Sawbonez is the gold standard of medics.

M4A1
Fragger despite a million nerfs still deals a lot of damage. (If you buy him try the K-121, it’s very fun to use)
Stoker if you want someone a bit faster like Skyhammer but you want to have an ability that is useful indoors.

Of those you mentioned - Phoenix is fun, specially in pubs where people have magic medpack dodging superpowers. Aimee - I very rarely use recons but to me she is the weakest of them.

Since u like Dreiss AR, I would say Arty. First, he has a great loadout with the gun you like, the one has unshakeable, tough, and the one that increases the aoe range. Second, his ability works on every map include underground, the difference is just the spots you have to find out.

My professional over 1k hours opinion is that you should get Phoenix. :smirk:

Otherwise: Get them in this order:

  1. Phoenix
  2. Nader
  3. Arty

Reasoning:
You already have two engies, both are fine, and they have guns you probably prefer.
You already have two medics, however, Phoenix is still the best medic, and his gun selection is SUPREME.
Nader really does bring on the firepower and she has this perfect balance that most mercs don’t have, as well as the SMG-9.
You don’t really need another Ammo support since you have both Kira and Skyhammer, however, Arty is an amazing merc, much better than Stoker right now since Stoker’s molly is broken.
There is no point to get Vassili or Aimee since you already have Redeye, who is probably the best recon there is, not to mention he has a Dreiss…
Fragger is great for Killing power, but Nader has area control as WELL as killing power and a gun you already know you like. I’d recommend her over Fragger or Thunder in this case.

The funniest thing? Phoenix Nader Arty, or Sparks Nader Arty/Stoker are usually my teams. So, if it works for me, I know it’ll work for you.

Also, I made an awesome Phoenix guide so I’m permanently biased towards Phoenix above all mercs.

i know i will be a dick now but… OMFG who cares, buy why the hell you want, in weorst scenario you will just get 1 merc your collection that you wont play, its not like you are spending 500k an there are soo many fucking videos on yt showing mercs

Definitively Skyhammerbro and superAura are best for starters and even pros. And they can contest even the best obj specialist in game. Did I mention they are free?

Just buy Nader. Nader with SMG9(if you like to use) is slightly weaker than with crotzni. but grenade launcher is just insane. takeout small mercs (health less or equal 90) straight away.

Personally, stoker with timik 47 is better. so if you don’t like timik 47, don’t buy it
